Best friends, soulmates or just some strangers ?
As we all may know today is a day dedicated to friends and friendships..
We all have this one person who is more than just a friend. This one person is like our family and sometimes even more. It depends on many things. We all need this one person in our life. We need them to tell them everything that´s on our mind even when it makes no sense. I have my own special person too actually a few of them . But today i would like to write mostly about this one.
Our relationship is just like a rollercoaster. Once we´re up and then we´re down.
Me and my BFF , we are totally different. We fancy different things and people oh I mean boys and hobbies but we kinda fit into each others soul patterns. If that makes any sense.. idk my mind is weird.
As I mentioned before once we´re up and once we´re down. This time ,we were down again. We had that kind of a fight where you start thinking this is it. It´s over. When we were together it felt like we were complete strangers. We didn´t talk, we didn´t write nor we even asked our other friends if we´re fine. It was like we never even know each other. And it was killing me. It felt like half of me was gone, i felt nothing but pain and emptyness.
My BFF and I, we known each other for over a 15 years and we´ve been constantly together, well if I don´t count this one bi fight we had in a 7th grade. We were just like a strangers for over a year. But somehow we found our ways back to each other. So we did this time.
And it all got me thinking. Soulmates, do they exist? I thing they do. Not in this romantic way as they are described in books and movies. It´s like you are this one piece and troughout your life you´re finding people that means to you more than others. I believe we all have this little group of soulmates we have to find just so we can be complete.
I am more than grateful to say that I have already found mine. They are my everything. But I also believe there are a different types of soulmates. Soulmates that are just passing by, they stay with you for a while and they give you something. You learn something new, you gain new view on something. They change you in some way just so you can be ready to meet your „real“ soulmate for life. One for your little special group.
Everyone in our life is important. Everyone means something and everyone brings you something you carry with yourself for the rest of your life. Today, we should thank to all our friends that are close to us, who understand us even when we are weird. Thank them because life is just way too short. Take every single moment, person as if they were the last one. Enjoy life but mostly love.
