We had an unexplainable luck finding elephants on our journey. Everything from finding a wonderful herd of over 2 dozen playing in a watering hole, to driving down a road and having a couple cross in front of us. Things that you can never plan for. People have tried to track them down for days with no luck and somehow we kept stumbling across them. As we were traveling back down a dirt road, after hiking up a hill that overlooked a delta, chasing the last bit of light to make it back to our lodgings for the night we heard a rustle in the bushes. A single elephant crossed the road right infant of us. Slamming on the breaks, we were of course happy to get a few pictures personally, but then we noticed another one to our left. Then another. Then another. Snapping away a few pics here and there, we got a quick trumpet from our right. We spun around and suddenly, to all of our surprise, excitement, and dread, 4 massive males staring us down. To our left, right, front and, back there were small baby elephants. Between an elephant and its baby is a bad spot to be. Yet, here we were. 3 guys in a Nissan X-Trail, on a rough road, in the middle of nowhere. These pictures are of our speedy escape as the adult elephants started to raise their trunks and making a few more trumpets. _ #amongthewild #travel #YourShotPhotographer #ventureout #exploremoreoutdoors #TravelStoke #OptOutside #Exceptional_Pictures #RoamThePlanet #KeepExploring #TheOutBound #ExploreToCreate #InstaMood #AGameOfTones #MoodyGrams #Travel #DiscoverEarth #ill_landscapes #amongthewild #gramslayers #VisualAmbassadors #CampEveryDay #megaphotographers #lightmob #aswediscover #Lumix #Gh5 (at Namibia) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2O8W_8A3Zj/?igshid=rvi7t9joky5y
