A six toed foot… this petroglyphs is massive, probably around 3 feet (1 meter) long! It also has faint traces of red pigment on it. Part of a much bigger panel. We’ll be posting more in the coming days.

The hike had me puffing, but by the end of the afternoon the light was perfect. I climbed down to the bottom of the scene in order to make this image of the arch all on its own. In order to do so, two hours were spent and exposures were made in between people walking up to make selfies with the arch. It did give me time to reflect on this special place however, and I am eternally grateful for that. I do hope to return one day soon, and see it again before I pass on. The purpose of selling these prints on Etsy is to support the social work being accomplished through my photography. Presently we have six sewing centers in two states of India, serving both the Hindu and the Muslim communities. In these sewing centers, young women learn a trade while also making clothing for their families. The centers are located in the rural areas, where young women have only one option normally, marriage and a family. At this moment, due to COVID-19, the work is on hold. However, we plan to restart the centers in 2022 and the funds from the sale of these portraits will be applied to the work in India. Living in Utah and watching this evermore Jenny nicholson stuff is a delight. Here are some fun details that I have noticed from living here that she couldn't quite get cuz she is not a Utah native(which is a good thing) .

1. The grid building is the same as the original the void building. Supposedly the void still operates at that location. So I love to imagine a bunch of 3d artists working while the go karts zoom about. Either way if the grid fails I would expect their next business offering to originate from these offices.

2. The only billboards I have ever seen for any of the void, the grid, or evermore are "conveniently" located on highways leading AWAY from those buildings and towards Alpine Utah. That area contains some of Utah's most wealthy people, besides park city.

3. There is an area of Utah that is kind of booming right now. Adobe moved a major headquarters to Lehi Utah, so some major brands and offices are located there. Wework (before their major crash), oracle, and digicert are there as well. Whereas all the uh... Awful companies are just outside or on the borders of Lehi. All the mlm legging and essential oil people are in pleasant Grove. So it's kind of hilarious to see evermore is across the street from doTERRA and a crystal healing shop. But Utah's weird mlm millionaire vs venture capital / mormon billionaire turf wars is a topic for another post.
