❝ -- not when you’re not so preoccupied with keepin’ power over the people, n’runnin shit like some tyrant. but judgin’ from what i’ve heard, you ain’t the type of person who would understand that kind of leadership. ❞
pause gifted to him as he saunters closer, seemingly casually, but a beast should never be too careful when faced with that which seeks to end it. coldness reaches those dark eyes, illuminated so gently by the lights hanging o’erhead. with lack of a clear pupil, it’s hard to see where exactly he’s looking -- thankfully, he makes it more clear by the way brows knit together and eyes narrow down at the smaller one. mentally taking note of where his knife is, he’s always at the ready, and a ghoul is a lot harder to kill than any human. light sneer dances on his lips, a growl resonating from deep within the man -- a primal need to tear down the tyrant and all that he stood for. he surely came to try and spread some sort of fear, to try and bully hancock himself into forking over those that fled to goodneighbor for shelter and freedom. ✱ ( sources, those lurking in the shadows, would prove that paranoia correct. ) luckily, he was smart enough to keep feelers out, especially when facing off with someone like him.
