hi guys !  i just wanted to make a post explaining where i’ve been / why i’ve been there.

this blog is very much a safe place for me. it’s fast approaching it’s 3 year anniversary of me writing sam in a month and honestly that’s so far beyond where i thought this blog was going to go. i love this character with all of my heart and i can’t wait to continue growing him into something that canon didn’t offer.

that all being said: i’ve been uncomfortable here. i’m not sure why, but it has nothing to do with anybody here, let me make that known right now. it’s mostly me. actually, it’s all me. i have no intentions of leaving. i have no intentions of starting from scratch... i’m too attached to this blog in particular to begin anew, and there’s so much development that i couldn’t possibly carry over that i don’t want to lose.

i’ve been on a new blog lately, giving sam some space, to focus my attention elsewhere while trying to shake this discomfort i’m feeling when i sign in. as i stated: i’m not ditching sam. i couldn’t bring myself to even if i tried. but i will be spending some time over on my new blog ( @bloodheels ) while i work on fixing whatever it is that’s got me in this rut, along with my mental health.

i just want to thank everyone who stuck around, who will continue to stick around and wait for my return. it means a lot to me that you guys support my hiatus. i’ll be back soon !
