The TEATORIAL: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Tea
why do I post so many selfies? because I am trying to love myself next question please
This is a sculpture project I recently finished. The assignment was called shelter, so I decided to show how I felt in mine. I took over 1000 pill bottles and relabeled them to say things people have said to me to cause me to take these pills. I wanted people to realize what bullying does to people. Let me know what you guys think.

Please don’t forget Darrien Hunt, a 22 year old cosplayer from Utah who was carrying a replica sword who was shot 6 times in the back while he was fleeing for his life 2 months ago
The cops tried covering this one up too:
He was shot from behind, running away and fleeing like we see in the surveillance tape where he is running for his life
The police originally claimed that he was swinging his sword and lunged at him before they begun shooting him. The police chief ruled the shooting justified. This is contrary to the evidence which indicates he was shot in the back
They allowed a police chief to make this ruling outside of a court of law, the investigation was carried out by an “officer-involved shooting protocol team”
The sword was bought from a gift shop and did not have a sharp edge, yet in the report they claim he swung it at them and they were afraid of getting sliced
The two cops who shot him are both reinstated: Schauerhamer and Judson
The area is 93% white, 0.5% black
The questioning of the cops was delayed and they’ve now altered their story (that Hunt lunged at them and that is why he ultimately died)
The shot that killed him, though, was the shot in the back that he received while fleeing. He was shot a total of 6 times.
We are allowing police departments all over the country to get away with murder. They are held unaccountable for their murder. This is genocide. People are justifying this just like they justify Brown’s murder. Question everything. Don’t believe a word these genocidal police departments say all over the country. They are held above the law. This will keep happening if precedent is not set.
This breaks me
1. Always have a water bottle in your car 2. Carry an extra lighter (even if you don’t smoke) 3. Get something new where you go to eat often, not just your usual. 4. Make a budget for yourself 5. But don’t forget to give yourself some play money and always round up on how much things cost so you have money left over 6. If you’re texting someone, but nervous to send it, just click the fucking send button. You typed that shit out for a reason. 7. Stay out late, but wake up early. You’ll be glad you had all of your day. 8. If something makes you laugh until your sides hurt, write it down in the notes in your phone, you’ll want to remember that later. 9. When you’re talking to someone, and you suddenly think of something you want to say, put up a finger and wait for them to finish talking. It’ll help you remember what you wanted to say, but you won’t interrupt them. 10. Go to plenty of concerts. Especially outdoor ones. Get drunk with your friends, but not sloppy drunk. Just drunk enough to scream your favorite songs and dance without feeling embarrassed. 12. Always keep a change of clothes in your car. Including a pair of shoes. You never know. 13. Keep at least $20 cash on you at all times. Gas is usually cheaper when you pay with cash, and not everywhere you go to eat splits checks. 14. It’s okay to be sad, but try not to forget about what makes you happy. 15. Coupons are always fantastic. 16. If you think something is cute, fucking wear it. Don’t worry about what everyone else thinks. You’ll look great, I promise. 17. Sex stores are fun, even if you just want a good laugh. 18. Plan out your days off with your friends, that way you aren’t stuck around asking the “I don’t know what do you wanna do” 19. Don’t forget to remind your friends how much they mean to you. 20. If someone gives you a compliment, smile and say thank you. They wouldn’t say it, if they didn’t mean it. 21. Drink plenty of water. Not only does it keep you hydrated, but clears your skin. 22. I know you might want to be tan, but is it really worth being burnt and exposing yourself to all that skin cancer bull shit? No. Use at least SPF 15. It’s not that hard and you’ll still tan. So stop being a brat. 23. You’re allowed to be happy. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise. 24. Aim to be better, not bitter. 25. Some days are better than others. 26. You can never over pack. Pack what you want. You’ll be glad you have options to choose from. 27. Take those extra hours at work. It’ll be worth it when you see your paycheck. 28. Clean your fucking room and make your bed you slob. It’ll look so much nicer and you’ll feel better you did it. 29. If you have to, make the first move. It’s scary, but someone has to do it. 30. Take plenty of pictures. Of the sunset, your food, your friends, your dog, selfies. Everything. That way, later when you scroll through your camera roll, you’ll remember everything about that day, good or bad.

OKAY LISTEN UP BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING SUPER IMPORTANT ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN AND MOST OF YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW
It’s the inclusion of Storm. (Storm? Pretty sure that’s Storm.) And in a way where, yes, representation saves lives.
See, here’s a weird medical fact: black women are more likely to get breast cancer and nobody knows why. It’s a medical mystery. Now, I want you to do a fun exercise: tell me the last time you saw a breast cancer awareness campaign that included black women. Go on, I’ll wait. Speaking as someone active with the cause whose aunt is even more active with the cause, here’s my answer: In eight years of working for awareness across four states, I have never seen a single black woman in any breast cancer campaign. Ever.
Black women are also more likely to die of breast cancer because they’re less likely to catch it early. That’s not genetics, that’s math. The sooner you begin treatment, the better your prognosis. Black women are less likely to know how to do self-exams and because of the socioeconomic divide, less likely to see an OB/GYN annually. And they’re ignored by awareness campaigns.
Tell your black friends. And spread this like wildfire. Because they are more at risk than you are.
