This 18 year old black kid went out with 3 of his white friends to an island here in Mississippi and he was the only one who turned up missing. It’s been close to 24 hours now and he still hasn’t been found. The shit is gut wrenching. Why wouldn’t his friends tell him to get back on the boat and go home with them instead of leaving him? Why did they have his phone on the boat before they left him behind? It’s fuckin Mississippi bro and my white co-workers don’t seem to comprehend that this is the most racist state in the country. We’ve seen it too many times.. black male or black woman gone missing after hanging with white “friends”. Shit genuinely hurts. I feel for his family. The “friends” he was with need to come forward and speak up
