Gorgeous sunbeam picture by #lionfloss! Could it be any more perfect?

Beautiful!
Some interesting things found on a ride in the woods.
Fungi in the Forest
humble enough to know i can be replaced but wise enough to know ain’t nobody else like me
humble as ever, but aware of my value
Wish I had thought of this years ago instead of being so easily intimated.
Beautiful Missouri Ozarks Sunset
Eastern Tailed-Blue
The bottom picture is from 2021. I posted it only so you can see the gorgeous markings on this little guy. The first two pictures are recent and I just couldn't get this straight on look. This butterfly is only about 1/2" to 1" in size. They're very lively, too, flitting from one place to another and you're lucky to photograph one!
Almost Perfect Spiderweb
Can you believe the nearly perfect concentric web? Now that is an engineering feat!
Bumblebee searching for pollen and comes out literally covered in it!
Bald Face Hornet Nest. This nest is about 30 feet in the air in a maple tree. This nest is a work of art, actually beautiful, except for the residents. In the first picture, you can see several of the hornets coming out of the nest due to the vibrations of our four wheeler. We waited a while and they seemed to settle down. However, I found out these hornets have face recognition. You go by the nest one time and they check your face. The next time you go by, you are considered an enemy and could be stung.
This is one of our cute wild baby bunnies in our yard. Our dog, Scout, loves to bark at them and they don’t even mind! We were just about ten feet from this little guy and he just continued to eat!
Listen closely: the only time it’s too late to change yourself is when you’re dead. Until then, you’re simply making excuses or lying to yourself.

Hummingbirds everywhere! They must be packing in the calories for that long trip across the Gulf of Mexico coming up shortly.
