things I love in this video:
Tyler being all smiley and happy
Tyler singing about being drunk, party, and getting high (it doesn’t feel right, but it’s funny)

Hi! My name’s Natalie and my boyfriend’s sister, Delaney, has stage 4 neuroblastoma (a type of childhood cancer). Recently they found out that the cancer had spread to her head and she has decided to stop treatment. She’s in hospice right now. One of her dreams was to meet Taylor Swift, and myself and others are trying so hard to help make that happen. Even if it’s a video or a text, it still means that she saw it. Delaney’s the sweetest, bravest, and kindest person I know and it would mean a lot if this got around. Please share this picture around and try to get as many people as possible to see it.
I don’t know why.. But I really like this.
I’m absolutely in love with this.

OCEARCH Shark Tagging Research Expands to Gulf of Mexico

The words of a generation
give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime you destroy the oceans. in fact, according to a recent study published in the journal science, ocean life faces mass extinction.
a team of scientists, in a groundbreaking analysis of data from hundreds of sources, have concluded that humans are on the verge of causing unprecedented damage to the oceans and the animals living in them.
"we may be sitting on a precipice of a major extinction event,” said douglas j. mccauley, an ecologist at the university of california, santa barbara, and an author of the new research.
the study notes, for example, that bottom trawlers scraping large nets across the sea floor have already affected 20 million square miles of ocean, turning parts of the continental shelf to rubble.

The Whale… If you read a recent front page story of the San Francisco Chronicle, you would have read about a female humpback whale who had become entangled in a spider web of crab traps and lines. She was weighted down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused her to struggle to stay afloat. She also had hundreds of yards of line rope wrapped around her body, her tail, her torso, a line tugging in her mouth. A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farallon Islands (outside the Golden Gate) and radioed an environmental group for help. Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was so bad off, the only way to save her was to dive in and untangle her. They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her. When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, and nudged them, pushed them gently around as she was thanking them. Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives. The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth said her eyes were following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.
This is why animals are smart af
