I took myself off to Grasmere and Rydal Water earlier this week to try and catch a glimpse of the incredible Autumn colours that the Lake District has to offer. While I was not lucky enough to get the best light, I was still treated to an awesome display in the few hours I was there.

Added to my growing portfolio of Singapore City images on my most recent visit. Probably the finest sunset I’ve seen whilst out around the bay and finally got a decent lighting bolt shot, during a pink sunset too! :)

Cannes Bay at Sunset. Same composition, different exposures, one of 3.5 minutes and one of 1 second, resulting is two completely different photos.

Cannes Fishing Pier. Lucky to catch this stunning pink sky on the only night of my holiday I got chance to escape with my camera.

A rather eventful trip to the Lake District in May started well enough with a stunning Sunset from the top of Fleetwith Pike, the following morning light was pretty nice although the windy conditions weren’t ideal, but the trip ended disastrously when the camera and tripod blew over into Crummock Water, seconds after the Crummock photo here was taken. The X-T1 was deemed to be a right off but luckily I was covered and traded up to the X-T2.

A fabulous trip to Anglesey at Easter to visit family included a short trip to Penmon Point where I caught a break in between showers, a very peaceful sunrise at the stunning Llyn Ogwen and a stop off to capture the cliched “Lone Tree” at Llyn Padarn, Llanberis.
