2025 art summary!! (+ 2024 which i didnt post. oop)

you may notice this year and last year was a bit. sparse in the art department over here... i had some personal losses in '24 that were challenging and a lot of my usual excitement for art was drained. but there was a need for something different so 2025 was the year of handy crafts for me! many were gifts for friends and family so i wont post pics here, but i had so much fun exploring different kinds of mediums!! I made lil felt creatures, ornaments, cross stitching, beading, sewing projects, and a tree skirt! it was really satifying to go back to cross stitching (i did it a lot as a kid) and then also try some new crafts!!

some fandom things on here that aren't my usual flavor: I watched Scavenger's Reign in january and hoooo boy i was devasted and loved it so much ;-; i got 911 buddie brainwormed in march. in april that's some sketches for bones (2005) which im slowly binging with essie. june i was overcome by emotions about the 100??? somehow?? jk i know how essie started showing me episodes and then we somehow finished the series. lmao. i have murphy/emori/raven art on my harddrive as well. i have the biggest brain. oh and not on here but been reading the magnus chase series and i love love love blitzen and heartstone sm ;-; trying to go into 2026 reading more books and graphic novels!! and hopefully with fanart with them.. but we will see :) thanks for sticking with me everyone!! esp my jatp lovelies the jatp 5 yr anniversary bash was so so fun and fufilling and also bittersweet :') see u in 2026!! (which is already now... feb... wild)

i was always very inspired by hilow's @theobligatedklutz works, be it meta or anything! their willex vampire au was one of my faves and the accompaining hunter rayleb fic was SO fun!! so here's some doodles from 2021 i never shared.. with added rayleb comic i cleaned up that was in sketch form for agesss. i dont think hilow is active anymore in fandom but i remember their fics so fondly and they were such a wonderful part of jatp fandom meta and fic!! <3
