Tbh I think that Ben and Paxton are the only teenagers in the show that can drive with their own vehicles. My guess for why ben ended up in the hospital was due to the stress of wanting the perfect grades possible not only getting into his dream college but impressing his father who he idolizes through out the show.

I don't know maybe it's just me but if you're trying to date me and you mentioned a physical thing about your ex in a way "bragging" about it that's a red flag. I would have liked if he talked about how he felt when they first kissed being the reason why he broke up with shira instead. Would've made-up for a wholesome benvi scene.
