911: We Are Enough is a Pride Zine that will be released on June 1st, 2026, the title of which comes from a beautiful monologue delivered by Paul Strickland (9-1-1 Lone Star 5 × 11). Sign-ups to be a creator for this zine will begin on February 1st. As always, all proceeds will be donated to charity.
9-1-1: We Are Enough will be a celebration of the many canonical queer characters from all across the greater 9-1-1 universe.
Just like always, everyone is welcome to participate in this zine as a creator; we do not have any requirements that those who wish to participate must meet to sign up. However, all works must adhere to the themes and rules of the zine in order to be accepted. This zine will only accept creations that are about explicitly canonically queer characters within the 9-1-1 universe.
Since this zine will be available for print we are capping the number of contributors at thirty. This will allow us to keep costs as low as possible and make the zine as accessible as possible.
If anyone has any questions about 9-1-1: We Are Enough, please send us an ask or dm here on @pb-zines or @911-we-are-enough
Rules for 911: We Are Enough submissions
All submissions must be a celebration of queer pride within the 911 universe
Submissions must center the canonically queer characters of the 911 universe
Submissions do not have to be romantic or ship-centric. They can be about friendship, community, family, queer history, queer culture, protests, etc., the sky is the limit!
As long as canonically queer characters are centered in the work, fanon is allowed within reason.
Acceptable uses of fanon:
Headcanons to fill in a canonically queer character's backstory
Creations centered around canonically queer side characters.
Ex: Mitchell & Thomas, Jax, David Hale
Rare pairs comprised of canonically queer characters
Ex: Josh x Tommy, Buck x Nancy, Nancy x Roxie
If one or more characters are not canonically queer, then it does not qualify for this zine
911: We Are Enough is a celebration of canonical representation of queerness that is represented across all three shows within the 911 universe. While we want to give our contributors the freedom to create anything that inspires them, this zine is not the place to center characters that are not explicitly, canonically queer.
MLH Pride Night will be a fan zine that celebrates all of the amazing queer representation in both Heated Rivalry, the TV show, as well as in the Game Changers book series.
