Twitter Posts I created for WWPR. 2015 , Photoshop and Illustrator
I designed work for Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) in 2015. I created and designed their upcoming Emerging Leaders Awards event where they honor women in the DC Metropolitan Area for their extraordinary work within their community.

I was their design consultant for their event. I created a brochure that includes the program, the finalists for the event, as well as sponsors and signage. Not only that, I designed and strategized their social media campaign for the event.
In this post, these were the images used on their Instagram and Facebook account.

Other than posting a lot of food pictures, or inspirational quotes repeatedly I wanted the establishment to have their own identity. So I began making fun illustrations with jokes to make their social media even more enjoyable.

Save the Date Card (front and back)
I haven’t designed something for myself in a long time and I wanted to do things my way for a change. I created a save the date card. I wanted to express a modern save the date invitation. I used the a complementary color palette of yellows and purples in the card for balance.
About Me
I’m an extremely busy artist with a lot on her plate. That sentence sounds like I don’t like being busy, but I love being busy. It keeps me going. I’m a full-time student, I work full-time, and I currently am doing some free lance graphic design work.
I love being successful. It’s a thrilling feeling to know you are thriving in your environment that you control and you are excelling in every way possible. I think that positive energy rubs off on people and others can see how well your are succeeding and what to as well.
About My Art
Art in itself is an art form. There are different kinds of art and how you create it. I believe that art keeps the world going. It’s everywhere you look and you can’t escape it whether you want to or not. It’s important to always express yourself when you create designs, especially if you’re making them for a client. That is one of the best tricks I have learned with being a designer. Creating something under limitations is a challenge but once it’s achieved, it can be beautiful. Being an artist is about breaking from limitations to express who and what you believe. Not everyone is going to appreciate what you make and or may not understand it but that doesn’t mean you should stop making designs to please other people. Create what you want and what you believe in, because you believe in it.
That’s the designer I strive to be.
“Kings of Leon Tribute” , 2013 , Photoshop
I created the CD packaging for the band "Kings of Leon" for their new album "Mechanical Bull". I didn't care for the original CD packaging that was created for the album so I created this design. With the grainy textures and different hues, you gain a feel for their type of alternative music.
“Italian Currency” , 2015 , Illustrator and Photoshop
Currency
My concept was to design Italian currency for the present day based off coins during 485 BC. I researched coins, symbols, patterns, and type faces as my basis for the assignment. I incorporated what I researched to make an 100 and 50 dollar bill. Because the currency will be used in Italy I named the bank "Banca D'Italia" and obviously left it in Italian. Also at the top left of the bill is the banks' seal. "BI". Furthermore, because the currency is to be used in present day Italy, the bills are called euros. I found this assignment to be very challenging.
My ultimate goal was to present a bill that had a feel of antiquity in present time without doing a clique. This was not my original design. I had several sketches and designs but I found that this design was the most successful.
