"lock in" is probably one of the most important phrases to enter the public lexicon in the 2020s
washing dishes is evil because you go "oh fuck there's so many dishes this is gonna take foreverrr" and then you enter the dish abyss and emerge with your abdomen somehow covered in water and your hands all wrinky and then you look at the clock and what felt like half an hour was actually 10 minutes

I went to an early screening of Hayley Kiyoko’s Girls Like Girls film yesterday and I was so baffled to walk past the theater later and see they’d put the film up on the marquee and it was rated R? There’s some scenes of teens drinking/smoking and some implied sexual content (one sex scene and one scene of implied masturbation, in both cases there’s no visible nudity and I’d consider them both fade-to-black-moments) but I didn’t think that seemed deserving of an R rating? Felt like pretty typical content for a teen coming-of-age story about and also seems too bad that teenagers who might want/need to see that film won’t be able to access it as easily. Perhaps the MPAA has not improved since attempting to give But I’m a Cheerleader an NC-17 rating.
do you think watching a million movies & shows is going to fill the hole in my heart. be honest
House of the Dragon is the perfect allegory. When two female characters in love are not allowed to be together, kingdoms burn, towns are razed, and thousands die.
Happy Pride, y'all.
PS - Let your female characters be together.
