i have been feeling pretty busted lately so i use the afternoon light to make myself feel pretty. most days i love my face and my body, and working out this year has definitely helped some of that, but there are days when i don’t want to even pass a window on the street.

i want to not care about thigh gaps and jaw lines and v-lines, but its really hard on the days when all i can see are my stretch marks and scars and cellulite. and from such a young age, i believed there was something wrong with me. that my forehead was too big, my nose too wide, my cheeks too round, my tits too small, my hips too wide. and those insecurities are far from gone - easier to ignore, but not gone. maybe i’ll just start taking sultry selfies every time i feel ugly.
