In the process of resetting my altar to Dianus. He’s gifted me so much over the past few days.
I went to Pagan Fires with a staff. A staff my boyfriend had given me after holding onto it for almost 10 years and doing nothing with it. While he doesn’t consider himself Pagan, Dianus has a special affinity for him and visited him in a dream to tell him that staff should be placed near Dianus’ altar. From then on, it became his staff.
So I brought it to Pagan Fires with me knowing two things, I would find something to put on it and something to wrap it with. What I didn’t know what just how many gifts I would be given.
Day One I was gifted a cat skull on my way out of the woods after offering the rest of my oatmeal to the forest. Bonus points in that one of my drumming brothers is also a jeweler and is going to GROW crystals on the skull and wire wrap it. (Apparently you only need organic matter for crystals to grow on, who knew?). Once it’s done it will join my other gifts.
Day Two I was gifted the most pristine owl feather dropped at my feet on the way out my cabin.
Day Three I was gifted a coyote-gnawed antler, which is already a rare find this time of year let alone with so much life and story, after trying (and failing) to get some trash out of a creek. I nearly cried when I found that antler because it was the one thing I just KNEW I was going to be given and then it came. I used the red rope to affix it. Still don’t know where the rope came from; I’ve had it for ages but never bought it and can’t even remember how I came about it, I just knew to bring it to camp with me.
On Day Three I also was then gifted with ribbons from Jacki Smith that were part of a beautiful main ritual she led.
So, in summary, I came to the land with a stick and left with a shaman’s staff created just for me and gifted by Dianus to continue his work and to assist my journey as a healer and walker between the worlds. All with no cost to me other than doing the work over the weekend.
Hail Dianus, bringer of light, wise one, weaver of mysteries, a stag among sheep. Hail Dianus Janus! Hail Dianus Lucifer!

Cuphead & Bendy in… “Crossover Clash!”
Hey Haily, really quick, did you had part in this animation too? Because (to me at least) in the last frame right before he goes blasting off Inkwell Isle, Bendy’s right eye does that thing where there’s a ’(’ line to emphasize he has wider eyes, similar to the craze look Bendy gives to Henry in the “Welcome Home” animation.
If you mean this frame…
…I confirmed with the animators on this project that it was indeed a reference to how Bendy was portrayed in “Welcome Home.” :D That said, it was a pleasant surprise to me as well, considering I did not work on this animation!
Santa Muerte - “Saint Death” or “Holy Death”, Santisima Muerte - “Most Holy Death”, La Flaca - “the Skinny Lady”, La Huesuda - “the Bony Lady”, La Niña Blanca - “the White Girl”, La Hermana Blanca - “the White Sister”, La Niña Bonita - “the Pretty Girl”, La Dama Poderosa - “the Powerful Lady”, La Madrina - “the Godmother”, Cabrona (affectionately)- “the Bitch”
#why it takes so long to get ready
So it appears that Autodesk did a thing.
Go nuts, my friends.
this is my favorite art program. it’s *much* more intuitive than photoshop/gimp or corel paintshop, but it still has the full functionality of a digital art program (layers, brush stabilizer, etc.). it’s not overwhelming to start on like practically every other decent art program I’ve tried, you can just pick a brush and start drawing as if it were paper if you want. plus you can download extra brushes for free! and they publish free art tutorials pretty regularly
ANYONE looking for a free art program: worth looking into.
YALL I LOVE THIS PROGRAM, especially the ipad version!! and i’m psyched that i don’t have to pay $30 a year for it anymore!!!
