I've been waiting for military stories from Tae and thankfully Taehyung Naver compiled a wonderful list with Tae's bootcamp friend's recent posts. He worked so hard and is so proud. He truly is an amazing role model.

Since his release from the military Kim Taehyung has been blessing us with so many new photos from his ambassadorships for Celine, Compose, Coke, Snow Peak, Yunth and Tir Tir. I have chosen my current favourites so far. It was not easy.

A M A Z I N G. He really does set new standards. From fixing Uma's hair, to fans traveling hours to catch a glimpse, to having to hide him, to viral croissant eating. All in two days!! Crazy!!
First he serves multiple Celine outfits in a short amount of time, doing the brand proud.
Next he goes viral for fixing Uma's hair. Uma, who by the way wanted a pic with him, calling it a picture of a lifetime! He's just such a natural in the moment caring person. There is so little of this nowadays so of course it goes viral.
Fans celebrate BTS’s V after heartwarming moment with Uma Thurman at Paris Fashion Week, praising his grace and gentlemanly demeanor.
Then he goes viral for being an adorable foodie. Boosting this extremely grateful Pistacherie's business to the max.
I can't think of a human being more deserving of this kind of value. This article sums up how he is changing things in the fashion industry by just being himself and having a fandom who supports and loves him for just that.

The Paris Walk
The Paris Walk will have to be tackled in multiple posts. This post will just go over both Tae and Jenny's schedules in May of 2023.
Jenny's schedule for May was packed! Here is an AI chart created from multiple internet sources. Some gaps are logically inferred so we will tackle that. I used 3 different AI sources as well as my own investigating to put this together.
Of course we are focused on the time around the 15th of May. The time the "walk" supposedly took place. I was confused about the Macau press conference on the 16th. Although Deepseek gave me multiple links, none worked as China seems to not grant access to Canada or vice versa. It was 100% adamant that it indeed happened and said I could find it in a BlackPink Vlog and in multiple Chinese media pages, but I was unable to verify it. If verified we can confidently declare she was NOT in Paris on the 15th.
If it turns out to be false, Jenny could have made it to Paris for the walk leaving directly after her concert in Signapore. She would then have had to leave Paris to go to Macau by the evening of May 17th to make it on time for reharsals on the 19th. There is no direct flight to Macau and it would take 18 hours to get to Macau from Paris
Jenny's choice is:
Singapore to Paris - 13 hours
Spend a day or two in Paris.
Paris to Macau - 18 hours
OR
Singapore directly to Macau - 4 hours. Get a bit of R&R
Do we think Jenny would fly 31 hours for 2 1/2 days at most in Paris for a fitting and a walk with Tae? Consider the serious jetlag and the fact she was due to go back again to Paris anyways for the festival on the 22nd. She could have seen her alledged honey bunny Tae then instead as they were both in Nice.
OR do we think she sent her double to get fitted instead?

While some claimed this picture to be in Paris and tied to May 2023, there's no timestamp, geotag, or visible landmarks (e.g., no Eiffel Tower or specific restaurant identifiers) to confirm. The setting could be any upscale cafe in any city, and the photos might predate the post.
When I asked AI to tell me everything they knew about this photo Deepseek identified it as Jenny and her friend Olivia Tibbetts from New Zealand. Olivia works in New Zealand. There is no obvious Paris connection. Grok said it was her French teacher Marie and it was a photo from 2018 in a Blackpink behind the scenes footage. I am having trouble confirming.
Jenny OR her body stunt double is seen arriving in Macau on the 19th. From where is speculation.
Now on to Tae's Timeline.
What we confidently know about Tae's trip to France in May of 2023.
1. He left South Korea on May 15th in the morning.
2. He posted on May 16th in his stories from Cannes.
3. Video of him at the airport in Nice uploaded May 21. (No time stamp)
4. He was also spotted in Paris on May 21. Fittings? Team Dinner?
5. He went to Naomi Campbell's birthday event and the Celine VIP dinner in Cannes on May 22.
6. He flew back to South Korea from Nice arriving on May 27th.
7. He posted pictures from Cannes calling it "Flight to Paris" Possible sarcasm?
8. May 29th he posted Instagram pics from Paris walking around.
What we confidently know is that he spent time in France in Cannes and in Paris.
Now let's try to fill in the blanks.
Tae is seen at Incheon airport leaving for France May 15th 2023 at 9am for events with Celine. Most assumed Paris, but we have no concrete information where he actually landed.
K media reports he is going to Paris, France.
Fans arrive at Paris Airport anxiously waiting for him only for him not to show. No hint whatsoever. No cars, no security, NOTHING. In fact local paparazzi told several fans waiting that they had heard he did not land in Paris, but had transfered to Nice.
Note this first poster mentioned Tae in Nice on the 16th before video of "the walk" dropped. Meaning the rumours were out that he landed in Nice BEFORE the video dropped.
Tae posts a picture on his stories May 16th. (Before video drop) Analysis confirms what many fans were saying, he is on a hiway in Nice.
I asked AI to figure out if the picture was taken in Paris or Nice.
The response.

A side note. Tae is wearing golfing attire and Nice is known to be a golfing paradise. Meaningless information for the analysis but .....
The 21st of May Tae is FINALLY spotted since flying to France at the Nice airport and also in Paris. Can't confirm times. Video uploaded at 6:30 pm so had to be taken then or earlier. Some say arrival some say departure. It doesn't really matter.
He has to be back to Cannes for the 22nd. It's a simple short flight of 1 1/2 hours. Could have been a day trip.
Logic dictates he left Cannes in the morning wearing the trench coat arrived in Paris for his final fitting, changed outfits went to lunch/dinner with his team and flew back to Nice.
Then it was back to Nice where I do beleive he spent the majority of his 10 days. Bogum arrived early May 22nd and Lisa arrived the afternoon of the 22nd. They seemed to have stayed in Cannes for the duration according to airport sightings. Lisa left Cannes on the 24th and Bogum arrived in South Korea on the 27th as did Tae.
Could Tae have been in Paris on the 15th. Sure, but it's extremely doubtful due to the rumours and his Instagram post. He seemed to land in Nice and be based in Nice the majority of the time and made day trips to Paris.
It's a real stretch to beleive either Jenny or Tae were in Paris on the evening of the 15th. Possible, yes, if the Macau press conference is faulty information. But what insane gymnastics for either of them to be there.

There was no reason for fans to assume it was anything but an accident. Tae was new to the app and of course never meant to follow her as all members only follow eachother, but the damage was done and Taennie was born. As you can see he tried to squash the narrative that the follow was meaningful by his weverse post, but to no avail. Fandoms do what they've always done. Make their own narratives based on very little and the hunt for clues and the manufacturing of connections, rumours and photos commenced.
May 2022 sighting in Jeju with loads of fake pictures.
It started with one Blind item report from an airline employee providing no flight number, no exact date or any kind of detailed description. Blind is an anonymous Korean forum. Pretty safe to say it lacked detail to be credible.
In May 2022 BTS' schedule was pretty busy with the release of Proof, Run BTS episodes and getting ready for a world tour etc. BlackPink was also heavily in pre comeback mode. Not impossible for a getaway, but not likely.
Photos that dropped from this alledged trip had major signs of photoshop. From previously found identical released solo photos of them being superimposed together, to Tae's missing or moving leg scar, to a photo that was definately not Tae's toes.
Also Gurumi the photo leaker was outed by an insider from a chat group who leaked their admission of photoshopping to create chaos and also by a fan posing as a buyer for edited pics.
But the smoking gun was that Jenny at the time of this alledged trip had RED hair and all Jeju photos showed her having BLACK hair. On platforms like Pinterest and Reddit (r/BlackPink), timelines of Jennie's hair show the red phase lasting from April 2022 to July 2022, with May fully covered by event photos.
May 29th 2022 Tae is spotted wearing the now famous "Your dog is not my dog" sweatshirt. Jimin even seemed to emphasize the shirt for people to pay attention to it.
The expression "your dog is not my dog" is typically used to convey that someone else's preferences are not your own. It suggests a boundary or distinction between what one person is dealing with and what another person is willing to take on or care about. It's generally about separating oneself from another’s situation.
Tae's use of the phrase served as a playful dismissive way to distance himself from the rumors, implying that fans speculation about his dating Jennie was not his concern.
Safe to say the Jeju trip didn't happen and that Tae was aware, but wasn't that amused with the gossip surrounding it.
A little bit of research shows you just how many kpop dating rumours are pure fan conjecture without an ounce of truth. It is WILD!
Just an aside of why Hybe may have refused to deny rumours. It could be to take the heat off of bullying rumours circulating regarding other Hybe artists.
Fans are speculating that HYBE is using the dating rumors about BTS' V and BLACKPINK's Jennie to cover up a bullying scandal.

Tae was seen wearing a Batman took from this brand that is not for sale. Some are speculating he may be an unofficial brand ambassador. This is one of the reasons I enjoy Tae. He's creative and ridiculous. 😁
Soul, South Korea yesterday. Only 4% of South Korean's lgbtq are openly gay. Things are slowly changing though. More supporters and less haters are coming to join the parades. 🌈 💜
This would please Tae as he has been a fierce advocate of the lgbtq community.

Today at the grocery store in Canada I heard "Wherever You Are" by Umi and V. This is huge because I've only ever heard BTS' Dynamite & Butter and Junkook's Seven & Standing Next to You in public! 🥰🥳 I love how easily Tae collaborated with Umi, an indie artist not many people have heard of and that the song made it all the way to my small town in Canada!
I also learned the song was used in the background of a proposal scene in Harlem. 👏

I have now also heard Friends in two different stores since it became part of the Summer I Turned Pretty soundtrack! 🥂 Jin's single also made it our country's grocery store playlist.
🌈 Pride Festival in Korea:
— Today I attended the Pride Festival in Daegu, the stronghold of conservatism in South Korea.
As a journalist and a queer person, I was very interested in taking part in a pride event outside of Seoul. In short: despite the resistance, the LGBT community came.
The activist said that many passers-by supported the festival with applause, but there were also opponents. We should all be very proud of people who bravely stand up for themselves🥹 Be yourself and always follow your compass❤️
