Hiya, Beautiful blog, so random question; trying to find some confirmation on why is it that "Porn" or 90% NSFW blogs are being blocked by most content creators? what is the issue? I'm not trolling or anything of that nature just really curious on why this is a thing lately? no one seems to answer or have a valid reason, figured you may be able to help with this info since you seem super friendly and understanding

1. I'm not super friendly but I am very understanding.

2. Just because someone's reason doesn't seem valid TO YOU, does not make it invalid. Don't discount someone's validity just bc you can't wrap your head around it. That's rude AF.

3. So imagine that you are selling lemonade at the corner of Cash and Money.

It's your block. The people who come by and see your small pop-up, are regulars. They even share (reblog) your flyers and specials to ppl they know. They see all the hard work you put into buying, cutting, de-seeding, and pressing (buying lingerie, using special lighting, contacting others for couples scenes, editing, and laboring in content creation) those lemons. You are a small self-starter business person.

Now imagine John Doe moves in. Right next door. They have a sign up that says "free lemonade" and uses that cheap lemonade thats bought in bulk and is made from artificial sweeteners with 2% real lemon juice.

John Doe wants to know why you're so fucking pissed about putting that free lemonade stand next to your lemonade.

Why do you think it's problematic?

Most of the porn industry is toxic and abusive. Yes changes are being made, but the industry itself is rough. Which is why even well known porn stars are going into business for themselves. It's not cheap, or easy. But it's better than the alternative.

Now John Doe’s friends start giving you a hard time “You want me to BUY you’re lemonade?? You should just give it away for free like John Doe”

And then John Doe continues to advertise “free lemonade” but now he’s using images of your lemonade (when those porn blogs reblog a content creator’s posts) meaning more people are coming to your stand demanding it for free. Some even steal it to give away to others (reposting a content creator’s images instead of reblogging).

So tell me, wouldn’t you want to block John Doe too??
