Guys what the FUCK happened to the F1 RPF fandom I joined a bit over a year ago (Montréal gp 2025) and it felt so niche back then?

Like I wasn't seeing ANY sort of like fics or VERY RARELY fanart in comment section on TikTok/insta and even then it was only lestappen bc they’re arguably the most known

This past year that has changed SO MUCH

The OFFICIAL F1 and teams account make gax lestappen Gabico lawblad jokes content, they show the drivers FANFICS and I started seeing increasingly more ppl disrespecting tandom etiquette and going into COMMENT SECTIONS of the drivers and also being awful to artists and authors it's horrifying to see

The worst part it, the people who go and disrespect the drivers/their families/friends and the authors and artists do not give a FUCK and that's what is so disappointing

It's so fucking sad I wish this fandom could've stayed somewhat niche/normal ☹️
