“Is everything ready?” you asked Jimin. He checked through the picnic basket, making sure everything you needed was in there before nodding at you, unable to hold back a smile. You smiled back at him before grabbing the blanket you intended to use and grabbing the hand he was holding out towards you. He brought your hand up to his lips, kissing the back of it before pulling you out the door. It was your anniversary and you had decided on a simple date; a picnic at the park where you met and had your first date. He opened the car door for you, allowing you to climb in before placing the basket at your feet and closing your door. He circled around to his side before getting in and starting the car, making sure your seatbelt was buckled before pulling out of your driveway. It was a short drive to the park, only about ten minutes, and it was filled with a comfortable silence, the only sound being the soft tune coming from the radio. A couple of minutes after he parked, you were walking hand in hand to the area where you always had your picnics. You two set up the blanket, laying out the food before sitting, facing each other.
“It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it?” he asked, opening the container you had packed with sliced apples and cherries. You reached out for one while nodding your head. The sun was shining, but not too bright and it was a perfect day to be outdoors. You both began eating and he eventually popped open the bottle of apple cider he had bought. He poured some in a glass before handing it to you. After he poured himself a glass, you two clinked the glasses together, causing you to laugh at how cheesy the scene must have looked to an outsider. “What?’ he asked, taking a sip from his glass. You shook your head and took a drink.
“I just love you a lot.” He grinned at your words, looking down and picking at the food. You smiled at how cute he was before beginning to eat. About half an hour later, you were finishing the last of the cider. The food was gone and all that was left was a small white box that was at the bottom of the basket. You had asked Jimin about it earlier and he had told you it was a surprise. He now reached into the basket to pull the box out, opening it to reveal four macaroons.
“They’re from that bakery you love so much, the one by the house.” You smiled at the sentiment before reaching to take one, but he shook his head, instead grabbing one and holding it out to you. You realized he wanted to feed you and you leaned forward slightly, opening your mouth and taking a bite out of the pink pastry. You hummed in content and he smiled before taking a bite as well.
About ten minutes, you had taken everything back to the car and were now just walking around the park, hand in hand with Jimin. You made small talk, talking about anything and everything. He pointed at a field up ahead, one that was always filled with dandelions. He excitedly walked up to them, pulling you along. You could only laugh at his almost childish excitement. He picked one, holding it out to you.
“Make a wish,” he said, handing you the dandelion before bending over to pick one for himself.
“I already have everything I could possibly want though,” you said, teasing him slightly. He pouted and told you that you had to make a wish. You smiled and complied, closing your eyes and blowing at the dandelion. When you opened your eyes, Jimin’s eyes were still closed and he looked so ethereal. You admired his soft, round cheeks and his beautiful lips. When he opened his eyes, his skin flushed when he realized you were staring. “I can’t believe after all these years of dating, you still get flustered when I stare at you.” He chuckles, dropping the dandelion stem before taking your hand. “Where to next?”
“Let’s go to the swings!” You couldn’t help but allow yourself to be pulled in the direction of the playground. You couldn’t help but think about how in love you were. When you were at the swings, he encouraged you to sit. When you did, he began to push you slowly. You giggled when you felt yourself sway. After taking turns swinging, you realized it was getting late. “We should head home, the sun is starting to set,” Jimin said, entwining his fingers with yours. It was silent between you two as you walked to the car until he spoke. “I love this park. It holds so much importance and so many memories. It’s where we met, where we had our first date-” You cut him off.
“Where I kissed you for the first time because you were too scared to,” you said with a teasing tone. He nudged your shoulder with his and you laughed.
“And it’s where I’m gonna ask you to marry me.” His words made you freeze and when you stopped, you pulled him back. You processed his words before stuttering.
“Are, are you going to-” His eyes widened when he realized the implication his words held.
“Oh no, not right now. I promise it’s coming, but not right now,” he said with a laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. You couldn’t help but laugh at how nervous he looked and you leaned in to kiss him. “I’m sorry if you were expecting it tonight.” You shook your head and kissed him again.
“I don’t care when we get married, I don’t even care if we get married. As long as I get to spend forever with you.”

No, scratch that, it’s your best friends so I’m terrified that they won’t approve of me.” One of Namjoon’s oldest friend had invited you both to a pool party to celebrate the first week of summer and he thought it would be a great opportunity for you to meet his group of friends. You were terrified, to say the least, and nothing Namjoon told you helped console you.
“It’ll be fine. They’ll love you, and if for whatever reason they don’t, it doesn’t matter. Because I’m gonna marry you one day so they’ll just have to get used to it.” You stopped walking when his words sunk in and he turned to look at you with a smile. You couldn’t help but feel your cheeks heat up as you smiled and kissed him, finally feeling some form of relief. “Now come on, they’re probably waiting for us.”
About fifteen minutes later, Namjoon was pulling into the driveway of one of the nicest houses you’ve ever seen. You admired the house before asking who it belonged to.
“It’s Jin’s house. But the rest of the guys are always over because it’s the biggest. So I guess you can say it’s their house too.” You laughed and even felt a bit of excitement over meeting the friends your boyfriend spoke so highly of. You unbuckled your seatbelt and opened the door, stepping out of the car, still admiring the house. You waited for Namjoon to finish getting whatever he needed from the trunk before you both walked up to the door. He was about to knock when the door opened and you were met with a guy who looked younger than Namjoon and you. The first thing you noticed was how big and bright his eyes were and you couldn’t help but smile. He greeted Namjoon with a smile and then he turned to you and his smile only grew.
“You must be Y/N! Namjoon talks about you all the time. I’m Jungkook!” He extended his hand and you took it with a smile. You didn’t feel as nervous anymore. After being let in, Namjoon walked to the backyard where the rest of the guys were, introducing you to them. They each greeted you, already acting as if you were one of them, putting your nerves at ease. Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jimin immediately went into the pool, claiming they had been waiting for you two to arrive before getting in. Jin was busy cooking at the grill and Hoseok was helping. Yoongi was sitting on a lawn chair, watching the younger guys play in the pool while he casually sipped at a glass of wine.
“Y/N, come get in the pool with us!” Jimin exclaimed, playfully throwing water at the other two boys. You looked at Namjoon and he nodded with a smile. You took off your cover, leaving you in just your swimwear. There was a variety of pool floats and you chose the one that was shaped like a watermelon slice to hang onto as you went in the water. You played in the water with the boys for a bit before turning to Namjoon to invite him in. He was drinking a beer and talking to the others but he turned to you when you called his name.
“Joon, come get in, please,” you said, faking a pout. He shook his head and put his drink down, walking over to the pool floats and choosing a round donut shaped one. You laughed at his childishness as he got in the water, balancing precariously on the float so he wouldn’t fall into the water. You walked over to him, pulling the float towards the middle of the pool where Jimin and Jungkook were. He was there for a bit, putting his sunglasses on and even closing his eyes. You suppressed a laugh as you noticed Jimin coming closer, making a motion to throw him off his float. When he was close enough, he tipped him over, causing your boyfriend to exclaim in surprise and fall into the water. You laughed and were joined by the others.
“The food is ready if any of you want to eat already!” Jin shouted. At the mention of food, Jimin and Jungkook ran out of the pool and Taehyung came out of the house holding a camera.
“We should take pictures after we eat!” Hoseok exclaimed and everyone agreed, fixing themselves plates to eat. You all sat around a table eating, the music Jimin had chosen serving as background music as the guys made conversation with you, asking the typical questions of how you and Namjoon had met and such. You happily answered them all, glad you were getting along with them all so well. During your meal, Namjoon leaned over to whisper into your ear.
“How are you doing, love?” You smiled and swallowed your food before turning to kiss his cheek.
“Great. They’re all so great and I’m so happy you brought me to meet them.” He smiled and gave you a proper kiss.
“Ew, stop being all lovey,” Yoongi said, but he couldn’t hide the smile on his face. Everyone laughed at his words, yourself included. After the meal, you were handed a popsicle that Jin had brought out from inside the house. You smiled as you sucked on the flavored ice, happy with your boyfriend and the new friends you had made.

“Imagine what you smell like.” When he was in the bathroom again, he gently lowered you into the warm water in the tub. You sighed, immediately feeling yourself relax into the water. He had dropped in a lavender bath bomb and the smell invaded your senses, making you smile.
“Are you going to get in with me?” Without waiting for an answer, you spread your legs, leaving space for him. He climbed in, nestling himself into your arms. He leaned back into your chest, letting out a sigh. Your arms immediately circled him and you placed your chin on his shoulder. He rubbed your thighs lovingly, turning to give you a soft kiss every once in a while.
“I adore you, my love. Thank you for everything that you do for me,” he whispered into your cheek. You smiled and kissed him once more, thinking that life couldn’t be more perfect.

Hii guys!! Due to popular demand, I’m back with another moodboard event!! Just kidding, only like two people asked for this. But every single person is important and I give the people what they want.
About the project:
This time we’re doing things a little differently, this event is not only for moodboard makers but fic writers too!! Are you curious? Everyone who signs up will be paired off with someone and you’ll have to collaborate to create a moodboard and a blurb to go with it. Each week I’ll be announcing a different theme relating to summer right here on this blog.

Schedule:
You have until the 17th of July (23:59 BST) to apply
After that you’ll be assigned a partner by 19th July (23:59 BST)
The event will take place for six weeks, from 20th July to 30th August
This gives you ONE WEEK to discuss with your partner what to do, make your moodboard, write the blurb and then post it on your blog before the next week’s theme is announced
Moodboard Guidelines:
DO NOT use fantaken pictures unless you have PERMISSION to edit and can correctly source the picture with a link to the fansite (like their twitter)
Try to use resources like Unsplash or Pixabay with free stock pictures
You can make a moodboard using Spark Post, Canva or basically anything that allows you to make collages
i’ve just flipped one of my old blogs with +1000 followers into @nct-reads, a blog created with the intent of circulating nctzen writers’ works & encouraging readers to reblog the fics they enjoy! (more info can be found here!)
as an avid fanfic reader, i constantly see writers struggling to get reblogs & comments on a lot of fics they worked their butts off for (trust me, i understand the struggle as a writer myself), so i figured it would be a great way to connect readers with various authors and gain traction for smaller blogs! as time goes on, i will have a more organized masterlist/catalogue for readers to sift through and find the tags they are most interested in.

“Angel, do you want to come help me?” You heard your boyfriend's voice ring through the apartment and you stood up off your bed, shoving your phone into your pocket and going to see what he needed.
“What is it, Xuxi?” you asked, walking towards the living room where you assumed he was. He was sitting on the couch, intently staring at the box in his hands. “What’s that?” He looked up at you and showed you the box. It was hair dye, more specifically bright blue hair dye.
“Remember how I told you I wanted to dye my hair?” Your eyes widened and you took the box from his hands, standing between his legs. His hands instinctively went to your waist, his thumbs subconsciously dipping under your shirt to rub at your bare skin. He gauged your reaction before quietly saying, “You don't like it.” The tinge of sadness in his voice caused your eyes to shoot up and meet his.
“Baby, I love it! Really, I do! I guess I was just starting to get used to the blonde and I’m gonna miss it a little,” you said, running one of your hands through his platinum blonde hair. He had bleached it a week ago in order to eventually color it and you had grown to love the look on him. His smile grew when you added, “You’re going to look amazing in blue.” You brought your hand down to caress his jaw and he slightly turned his head to kiss your palm. “Want my help dyeing it?” He smiled and nodded. “Come on.” You grabbed his hand, pulling him towards the bathroom in your room. You went into the bathroom, already clearing out the counter to set out what you needed.
“Do you need anything else?” he asked, watching you open the box and take out the contents. You nodded and asked him to grab you some gloves from under the kitchen sink. A couple seconds later, he was back with a pair of gloves.
“You should take your shirt off just in case. I don’t want to accidentally stain it as I’m dyeing your hair or when you rinse it,” you said, slipping the gloves on. He smirked at your words and you realized how suggestive they might have sounded.
“You know, angel, if you wanted to see me shirtless, you could just ask. You don’t need to use the hair dye as an excuse.” You scoffed and laughed, causing him to laugh too. Despite his teasing, he reached his hands back to pull his shirt off. You couldn’t help but admire him for a second before he cleared his throat. You blinked, realizing he was smiling at you.
“Stop laughing. Come sit down.” He obeyed, sitting on the lid of the toilet. You grabbed an old towel, placing it over his shoulders. You reached for the container of vaseline, popping the lid open before softly telling him to look at you. He tilted his head slightly to look up at you and you smeared a little bit of vaseline along his hairline so his skin wouldn’t stain. You were so focused on not missing a spot that you didn’t realize he had been staring at you until his whisper broke your concentration.
“You’re so beautiful.” Your fingers froze and you met his eyes. A soft smile was playing on his lips and you felt your face heat up. It was amazing how after almost two years of dating, he still had the same effect on you with his compliments. You continued to rub the vaseline into his hairline and told him to stop. He hummed in response. “Or what?” You closed the lid of the vaseline container and wiped your fingers on the towel on his shoulders.
“Or I’ll fall in love with you all over again,” you said. He blew air out of his nose, as if trying not to laugh.
“Ah, but that’s the goal.” You smiled and turned towards the counter to mix the color and the developer when you felt his hands on your waist again, turning you to face him. “Come here,” he said. You leaned in, giving him a peck on the lips before pulling away. He whined, complaining that he wanted a proper kiss.
“Xuxi, if we get distracted, I’ll never finish dyeing your hair,” you tried to reason, squeezing some of the developer into the bowl. You didn’t have to look at him to know he was pouting. You added the color and began mixing them with a color brush before turning back to him. Sure enough, there was a pout on his face.
“Will you let me kiss you after my hair is done?” he asked. You nodded and his pout became a smile. “Can I at least get one real kiss before you start putting the color on?” He looked up at you with his big, beautiful eyes and you couldn’t deny him. You pretended to sigh before leaning down to place your lips on his. This time, he cradled your face, stopping you from pulling away as quickly as you had before. When you did pull away, he mumbled a quick ‘I love you.’ You pecked his lips again and said it back before straightening up and mixing the contents of the bowl again.

About two hours later, you were blow drying your boyfriend’s now blue hair. You had to admit, he looked really handsome and you mentally gave yourself a pat on the back because you thought you did a pretty good job. Once it was completely dry, you ran your fingers through it before pulling your brush through it. You somewhat styled it in a way you thought looked good before exclaiming, “All done!” his face lit up and he stood up to look at himself in the mirror. You nervously watched him, waiting for his reaction. He stared at his reflection intently, bringing his hand up to tug at the bright blue strands. “Well?” you asked, after a couple of seconds of silence. His face split into a smile.
“I love it, angel,” he said, turning to hug you. You smiled into his shoulder as you wrapped your hands around his neck. He pulled away only to look at himself again. “Oh man, I can’t wait to show Ten. He bet I wouldn’t do it, so now he owes me money.” You laughed at his excitement, carding your fingers through his hair. He turned to you and asked, “So when are you gonna let me dye your hair?” You grimaced slightly, too attached to your natural hair color to dye it anytime soon.
“Hmm, I’m gonna have to think about it and I’ll get back to you.” He shrugged in understanding before smiling again. “What?” you asked, almost afraid of what his expression meant.
“I was promised kisses.” With this, he dramatically closed his eyes and puckered his lips. You shook your head with a laugh, but kissed him nonetheless, the only thought on your mind was how much you loved him.
