âI should probably wash this off before class starts.â Gary stated to no one in particular, his fingers reaching up to feel the pink substance that stained his hair. It was definitely a bewilderment for him when a bunch of jocks poured paint on his hair without warning, staining the sleeves of his blue jacket and giving his hair a disgusting sticky texture. Gary didn't take the trouble to pursue them though. At least they were having a good morning, right?
But then his morning never seemed to go right because as soon as he turned a corner in slight rush so as to wash the paint off his hair before it dries, he collided with an undoubtedly larger frame.
âOh! I'm so sorry!â The young Mormon immediately apologized as soon as he saw the infuriated frown that twisted the other male's face. âI was in a rush to wash the paint off my hair, you see.â He pointed to his stained golden tendrils but then fixated his gaze at who he had recognized as a classmate of his in his first class. Gary had never really talked to him but had always assumed that the guy was older than everyone in class since he appeared that way. Â
âBut I guess this is my fault for not looking where I was going. Such a waste of coffee. I particularly don't drink coffee though unless it has a lot of sugar and cream in it. But I'm more of a hot chocolate person, you know? It doesn't keep me awake but it sure puts me in a good mood. Especially if you sprinkle it with cinnamon and marshmallows! But anyways, lemme go ahead and buy you another cup! My hair can wait.â
