"Well, what do we do now?"
The screen on your dash was lit up with Spike's face, it was the only light on in your small cockpit. Leaning your head back in frustration you drug your hands down your face. Spike exhaled, the smoke from his cigarette floating up and dissipating around him.
"I don't know." Your voice wobbled on the edge of sounding scared and sounding aggravated.
Spike smiled lazily, just barely opening his eyes. His cigarette dangles from his lips, the smoke dancing above his head. He looks so relaxed, without a care in the world. If being stranded wasn't enough having no gas was no where near enough to stress him out.
"Whatever happens, happens." He says all too happily for the situation your in. Growling to yourself in frustration, you turn onto your side to get comfortable.
"I'm going to sleep." You announce.
"Have fun." He says.

For a comfortable seat, you had trouble sleeping. No matter how many times you twisted and turned you just couldn't seem so fall asleep, and just when you had stood to try laying on the floor with the little space you had, Spike pipes up.
"Having trouble?" He mused groggily.
You looked over at his ship from where you sat on the ground, annoyed and tired, answering him with a hum instead of a word. From what you could tell, you weren't the only one that was tired. From the looks of it Spike had tried to go to sleep too, resulting in his voice sounding much deeper than it should have. Stopping your thoughts before you dehydrated your brain any further you laid down, and much to your disappointment the floor didn't help much at all. Now freezing and uncomfortable on the floor you opened your eyes.
"I'm not gonna lie, I honestly miss Faye and her whining, and Ein too." Spike admitted with a frown.
His timing for speaking was perfect, getting you moving back into your seat. You could now see spike clearly on your screen. He was laying in his seat as well, it was reclined as far back as it would go. One arm covering his eyes and the other holding a lit cigarette.
"I do too." You agreed.
Now that you really thought about it, Faye, Jet, Ed, and Ein had all become a big part of what made the Bebop home, Spike included. Now as you float through almost complete and utter silence, you can't help but cringe.
"Hey Spike?" You called.
He moved a part of his arm off his face to look at you. You looked to him as if you hadn't slept in days.
"Are you cold?" You asked.
He sat up to get a clearer look at you, the cigarette dangling in-between his lips again, his hands now free. Perplexed, he thought about it, trying to think about whether he felt cold or hot.
"Kinda, why?" He asks. His voice is softer than before. The curiosity floats around in his dark eyes, the smoke again dissipating above his head almost like a thought bubble. Shrugging, you leaned forward with each of your hands rubbing your uncovered arms.
"It's freezing." You finally said.
As you spoke a white cloud of mist came out with each word, quick to dissipate before your eyes. You look at the white mist with surprise, baffled, you were unsure if it had been that cold this whole time and you never noticed or you were going crazy. Spike was just as confused as you were, maybe it was because he had a heating system and you didn't. Taking the cigarette from his mouth he lifted his hand and blew against it, no smoke. Finally Spike looked back up at you, then at your ship.
Ice was beginning to form on the very bottom of the glass, he cringed at that internally.
"Maybe you should come over here with me." His suggestion didn't go unfavored. You were all the way in line with that idea, nodding eagerly at his words.
"Yes, please." You whined.
Spike reached over to depressurize his cabin, you followed suit. Taking the deepest breath you could, you opened the latch to the cockpit, using your seat to push off toward Spike. Opening the latch on his end as well he opened his arms towards you, once secured and against him, you wrapped securely around him while he latched the door back.
You didn't move from your spot against him, your fingers entirely too cold to move. Spike had only noticed now that your lips were a duller color than they should have been. So while you waited on the ship to fill back up with hot air, Spike returned your action; embracing you in a small hug. The two of you stayed like this for a while before you shifted to go and stand.
When you pulled away you were sucked right back in against Spike. Looking back up at him expecting him to look at you with a smug face you were surprised to see him asleep.
Remembering his lit cigarette you grabbed it from his hands, snuffing it out against the seat and letting it fall to the ground. You weren't gonna be able to move now that he was asleep, he did this on purpose being able to fall asleep at will. You didn't complain though, you were much warmer than before and a lot more comfortable.
Satisfied, you rested your head and closed your eyes.

When you woke you were met with the picture of Spike's clothed chest and the lights of his console lit up along the dash. His arms were still around you yet space was moving past outside the widow, looking up confused you saw his feet on the steering.
"Morning sleeping beauty." He said nonchalantly.
You looked up at him, clearly confused. He laughed at your face.
Pointing towards his feet you looked him dead in the eyes.
"How?"
He chuckled again. "Skill" he said simply.
Moving to get up you were dragged back down my his arms, deja Vu if you wanted to be honest. Looking up at him blankly you blinked. He shrugged, a smug smile on his face. Looking away and out the window you watched the starts and various pieces of space junk fly by. Had Jet come by while you were still asleep?
"So when did we get feul?" You asked.
Spike hummed lightly. "Not too long ago actually, I managed to get ahold of Jet." He answered your question.
"And my ship?" You questioned.
Spike playfully rolled his eyes. "You're rather curious today aren't you?"
You blew sarcastically out of your lips, mocking a "pfft" sound.
"Curious my ass, don't be a dick." You complained.
"Hey, your the one laying on me. I could've shoved you off but I'm a very generous man." He pointed out.
"Not what I asked." You retorted.
"Oh well." He shrugged.
Even though you were very much so comfortable where you were you started to grow hot, the air becoming thick. Looking around the console you spoke.
"Does this thing have air conditioning?" You asked.
Spike shook his head. "No, I'm the heater after all, so…"
Groaning you looked back up at him and started to try and escape his grasp. As you struggled, he couldn't help but use his legs as leverage to keep you in place, making the ship wobble.
"You ass, let me go…" Groaning in annoyance you fell limp in his grasp.
"I think I'll do that when we have enough feul to fill your ship too."
For about two weeks now I've had an issue with my links, none of them have worked, not even on computer and I've just tried to go in and update the links which worked however. That means I'm going to have to go in and do everything individually and that's waaaay too much.
First I'm gonna try and report the issue and just hope that Tumblr fixes it, and if that doesn't work I'm making a new account.
It's been a day since I last sent Tumblr and email and I have yet to get a response, my links are still down and I'm not sure when they're gonna respond. I'll update soon!

I can see what you mean, yeah. It definitely doesn't need to be fixed. Honestly, yeah you're right, it does make Fujiko who she is, I never thought about it that way. You prove a point.
Every character is unique so of course she is as well, each writer makes a character the way they are for a reason.
I was definitely wrong.
No I'm not saying this sarcastically either, I'm being genuine.
Like I said before Fujiko is a good character, she definitely is indepth.
I agree that Fujiko definitely has commitment issues but despite that she really truly does love Lupin she just doesn’t trust herself to get that close to anyone. I also believe if Lupin ever did completely move on from Fujiko and have a fully trustful and committed romantic relationship with someone else, eventually Fujiko would have the ugliest drunken meltdown anyone has ever seen.
I do actually recall Fujiko actually believing that Lupin was dead and being heart broken about it. We know she's not heatless she definitely cares.
Fujiko needs to get a grip or Lupin will eventually move on, it sucks that she doesn't trust herself enough, which is honestly understandable, it's a good reason to not commit but she need to get over that fear in order to be a well built solid Character.
I thought there were a lot of similarity between Faye and Fujiko, not just because they’re both femme fatales as in Faye is Fujiko if given character motivation, when we first meet her she’s almost exactly like fujiko but with her tragic backstory, we know why she is greedy, doesn’t trust anyone and is a loner
Even in TWCFM mini series we don’t really learn why Fujiko is the way she is
Yeah, honestly Fujiko confuses me, a character isn't properly built without a reason to do what they do and that applies to all characters. Yeah, we know Fujiko's backstory but she has no reason to do what she does, which it partially why I don't write for her.
She's just a back stabbing femme, she has no real purpose in the story other than to be a female companion for Lupin. Which makes sense given that the show was make in the 70's. I try and make up for no reason by saying she backstabs the gang because she's scared of commitment and having them turn their back on her, and commitment issues could also apply to why she's not officially with Lupin, but I just don't like her, she's not a favorite for me.
Fujiko is a good character and all but with out a purpose to back up what she does she just has no place. I'd love to hear what anyone else has to say about it, I'm not a close minded person so if you give me a reasonable answer I'm not just gonna act like your opinion doesn't exist, lemme hear your thoughts on this.
Do you see the influence Lupin iii had on Cowboy Bebop?
No, not really. I say that though because the shows are so different in terms of characters, plot, and setting.
However I can see how they seem similar, for one spike reminds me of Lupin but only certain aspects of him do. Both characters are very self absorbed and carefree, they're also both smart, and talented. Their attitudes could very well be compared to each other with very little contrast.
I can see the influence but not a lot of it. I understand how they're both Similar too, that's why so many people either go from cowboy bebop to Lupin the third and vise versa you know. The same could be said about megalo box as well.
