Long hair! Jean who always ties his hair back before cooking. Except this time he just happened to forget and now his hands are covered in something and he doesn't want to touch his hair but he doesn't want to stop to wash them. So he calls Jeremy into the kitchen.

"are you sure?" Jeremy asks. "I thought I was banned from the kitchen." But he's already there by the time he's done with his joke. Jean asks Jeremy to pull his hair back for him, and Jeremy agrees. Jeremy positions himself behind Jean and delicately pulls the hair back from his face. Jean goes very still as Jeremy takes his hair in his hands, but even though he has memories of Riko violently pulling his hair out, he's not afraid.

The moment is intimate, it's easy to forget Cat's at the stove. It's only a few seconds but it feels like minutes. Jeremy's fingers in his hair, his breath in his ear. Jeremy's front is just inches away from Jean's back. He makes a comment about how he should learn to braid and Jean becomes determined to teach him, if only to have more moments like this, to feel Jeremy's fingers weaving his hair.

Also they aren't dating yet.

Long!!!! Haired!!! Jean!!! My HC is the perfect court was all required to keep pretty short hair, particularly Riko and Kevin but after Kev leaves he lets his hair get longer and experiments a bit with it. To further separate Jean from the sons of exy, his hair was a little longer but after Riko pulled a lot of it out Jean has been letting it grow out since 😌 (I love symbolism of hair and character progression✨) let the man have a bun!! Braid his hair pleaseeee 😭

There's been DMCA requests and it looks like some/most? of it has been taken down, thankfully. Still. I highly highly recommend that everyone lock all their works to the archive right now. I can't force you to, but I strongly suggest that you do. Don't let them scrape your work in the future. It sucks losing guest interaction but. Would you rather feed the AI slop?

For people who guest comment: Make an AO3 account! You have to wait a bit for an invite but it's worth it i promise!!

For artists specifically: I recommend that you look into Glaze and/or Nightshade. There's also these disruption filters, it's not clear how well these actually work, but you're welcome to try them. Glaze is supposed to work best, though.

I do the majority of my writing in LibreOffice, but I've been moving all my GDocs over to ellipsus for a bit and I really love the interface.
