Yes!
As of 7/22/15, these dogs are safe in foster care, but have not yet been adopted. Since I usually get messages about how to help and/or donate in these situations, you can find that information here.

-there’s no such thing a “popping a cherry”
- having a lot of sex doesn’t make you “lose” , nor does it “make your walls disappear”
-you’re not supposed to bleed or experience extreme pain your first time having sex (some women bleed for other reasons but it shouldn’t be due to lack of arrousal and foreplay)
-the idea of virginity is sexist
-having sex the 30th time can be just as special as your first time
-having sex does not make you “less pure” -There is no medical or biological definition of virginity
- the concept of virginity was created to control female sexuality
Congratulations, class of 2015: you’re the most indebted graduation class ever!

Middle-aged bees become undertakers. Some older bees have the job of removing all the dead bee-bodies from the hive. They pick them up, carry them 300 feet away, then drop them. Source
Love my bees!! 😃
Andrew Wakefield, the doctor who claimed there was a link between autism and vaccines, changed the data of his research and falsified his documents to prove his theory. He was banned from practicing medicine and labeled an “elaborate fraud” in 2010. Source
Yet the vaccine causes autism BS still rolls along the wing nut fringe.

Approximately 619 journalists have died since 2004. Most were local reporters.
Here’s The Script, in four despicable acts:
Act 1. Fracking boom goes bust as production from shale gas and tight oil wells stalls out and lurches into decline.
Act 2. Oil and gas industry loudly blames anti-fracking environmentalists and restrictive regulations.
Act 3. Congress rolls back environmental laws.
Act 4. Loosened regulations do little to boost actual oil and gas production, which continues to tank, but the industry wins the right to exploit marginal resources a little more cheaply than would otherwise have been the case.
Spot on article from Richard Heinberg. You can bet your bottom dollar that the above "script" will play out pretty much exactly as Mr. Heinberg lays out. We could even see the curtains rise and Act 1 start as early as 2015-2017 timeframe.
Of course the real environmentalists standing up to the oil and gas companies are mostly local folks and local organizations not big, powerful (and make-believe) environmental interests or big government regulations. As most informed people know, the oil and gas companies that are in the fracking game are exempt from the Clean Air and Clean Water act among other environmental protection regulations.

We all know the term anti-semitism - and with the recent events in Gaza this term is flying around a lot. But I’ve been trying to think what is the world that the world uses for hatred of Muslims? Is it Islamophobia?
I’m a humanist so I’m not trying to pick sides. But what does it say about the...
Good points. I agree that it is ridiculous that people who criticize the Israeli govt are labelled anti-Semites. This is a deliberate move by Israeli supporters.
Regarding your comment that you don't think that the Palestinians in Gaza don't support Hamas, I can't say for sure. But Hamas won the Palestinian Legislative Election in 2006 with lots of votes in Gaza. I don't know what the opinion on the street is today.

There is supposed to be fresh elections within 6 months of the Hamas Fatah agreement in April 2014. That is one of the reasons I think that Israel has resorted to this most recent aggression against Gaza.

Nafeez Ahmed: West's co-optation of Gulf states' jihadists created the neocon's best friend: an Islamist Frankenstein
Following the bulk of western reporting on the Iraq crisis, you'd think the self-styled 'Islamic State of Iraq and Syria' (Isis) popped out of nowhere, took the west completely by surprise, and is now rampaging across the Middle East like some random weather event.
The reality is far more complex, and less palatable. The meteoric rise of Isis is a predictable consequence of a longstanding US-led geostrategy in the Middle East that has seen tyrants and terrorists as tools to expedite access to regional oil and gas resources.

Retired Marine Issues Dire Warning About US ‘Building A Domestic Army’
Old news. This has been going on since the inception of DHS. It's now speeding up since the US is winding up in Afghanistan. The military industrial complex needs enemies to justify the outsized defense budget.
Cut the DoD budget. Liquidate the DHS. And deal with the consequence of the defense and allied industries' stocks tanking. Learn to build jobs and economic activity around something other than fake wars fighting some phantom menace.
There is no way out of the Catch 22 within the growth economy model.
At least 10 feet of sea level rise is now guaranteed worldwide; it’s all but inevitable, a done deal. An ice sheet two miles thick has collapsed in West Antarctica—glaciologists have been dreading this moment for decades, though in recent years, it was more of a question of when than if—and there is nothing that can stop it from melting now.
NASA scientists say so, glaciologists say so, researchers who’ve spent their entire careers studying the slow and increasingly inevitable melt of our planet’s permanent ice stores say so. They say so in two new studies debuting this week; one in Science and one in Geophysical Research Letters.
They are all saying we should begin getting comfortable with sea levels that lap up 10 feet higher on our shores. Long before the collapse of West Antarctica’s Thwaites ice sheet, an organization called Climate Central created this interactive map, which shows how various levels of sea level rise will impact the United States.
Grimly and fortuitously, it goes up to 10 feet—the amount that is now locked-in, but by no means the minimum of sea level rise we can expect to experience thanks to climate change. Go ahead, plug your city in, and see what percent chance you have of being driven away by high waters.
10 Feet of Global Sea Level Rise Is Now Guaranteed | Motherboard
Another sign post on the long, ragged road towards the collapse of our civilization.
