Maybe you should try to download some proper editor. I think there's several that are free and better than ezgif, because as much as I love it it's quite limited (yet it's the only one I use) but maybe @call-sign-shark can help you with that.

AU where James, a truck driver, finds Rose in middle of the road. Her backpack and an old map were their only possessions that day.
"Where to, sweetheart?" he asked.
"Wherever you're going," she replied.
If you missed the post don't worry, but early today I posted that last night I dreamt that James was a truck driver. The dream was kinda sad, but I changed the angst for something more adventurous and fluff. But I simply couldn't leave the idea of James driving a truck 🫠.

A/N: This is a continuation of my new modern!Peaky AU, American Teenager.
Linda Miller took the prettiest mugshot in three counties, her ethereal beauty illuminated under the jail's harsh fluorescent lighting. "Miss Holiday Inn," one of the deputies joked when he saw it and the truth wasn't far off. Somewhere a sunbleached Polaroid confirmed Linda's resemblance to the Texas beauty queen who raised her. But that was a long time ago, before the drugs.
Her mama wasn't good at raising children, but she was good at raising hell. Linda had been on her own since she was sixteen, drifting from town to town, using her intellect and angelic face to get away with anything. She was on probation when she moved into Watery Lane trailer park, just down the road from Charlie Strong's garage, and fate took the wheel.
As she walked to the diner where she worked, she noticed a lanky man with faded baby blues staring back at her. He looked like he worked with his hands and smelled of Marlboro Reds. Not the best decision for someone trying to start fresh, but she was inexplicably drawn to him nonetheless.
She had what Arthur would later describe as "fuck me eyes," batting her lashes seductively every time she walked past the open bay where he was working. But if you asked Linda, she was dedicated to a more righteous path, never missing Sunday service, even if she'd been at the clubs the night before.
There was something in her religious devotion that attracted Arthur. The year after John died he was dishonorably discharged from the Army. When he returned home, he spent more nights in jail than in his own bed with little hope he'd change. His parole officer had mentioned the local church, but at the time he only scoffed in reply. "What do I need that bullshit for?" Now he knew.
I adore what you did with Linda’s character, and the backstory you gave her, especially since we know so little about her past. You mixed up her true nature with the lifestyle she later embraced so well.
And I love the way she and Arthur met. How he was dishonourably discharged, and how, similarly to canon, met Linda (and God) when he was at his lowest.

The Starks and Shelbys were neighbors, coexisting side by side in the heat of the Mississippi Delta. On more than once occasion, Lizzie's mama told her not to go near the Shelby boys. “Daddy's on death row," young Finn would say in an unabashedly loud voice to anyone who would listen.
His older brothers attempted to hide the family's shame beneath a varnish of patriotism, all three enlisting straight out of high school. John was the star quarterback, full of hope and promise. He came home in a box and mama said maybe he wanted it that way. Lizzie saw it for what it was, another red heart taken by the American dream.
Though Lizzie prayed every night, Jesus didn’t seem to be listening and she felt awfully alone. So when Tommy came home, she was waiting beneath the glow of the street light across from the bus station to walk him home. Turns out that they’d come to the same conclusion: God loves you, but not enough to save you.
I already told you, but I absolutely love the idea. The moodboard is stunning, and the way you told the Shelby’s story through Lizzie’s eyes is such a nice detail. John being a quarterback feels so fitting!

I might make some gifs as soon as I have more time on my hands. I mean, she’s not 100% my Nina, I made it quite clear at this point. But she’s so pretty.
Like, the eyebrows, the eyes and the lips are almost spot on. And I’m lucky cause in every show/movie they always manage to give her a head full of hair, which is def Nina. But it should be darker, and her skin tone should definitely be more tanned. The face in general is a tad bit too ‘doll-like’, whilst Nina has sharper features and a bit of a different vibe, but that’s me being picky. Alright enough with the rambling.
During one of the many times Tommy is incapacitated through out the show events I hope Nina has like power of attorney and takes over and fixes everything lol with the full support and help of Polly and Ada of course

The comment section under this post reminded me of a little ramble I wrote a while ago about Nina and Tommy’s relationship.
It’s a bit decontextualised cause I wrote it very quickly and only for myself, but it gives some insight into one of the reasons why, despite the love she has for Tommy, she’s growing to feel more and more caged in their marriage. So I thought I’d share it.
Again, it’s a bit messy and random because I haven’t edited it or anything. It’s just a reb-ramble written for Reb that I’m sharing now instead of letting it sit in my drafts.
Nina thought she found someone who understood her in Tommy, and when they got married she was disillusioned. Because, to some extent, he has this idea of her that does not coincide with the real thing. He ideally separates her from the kind of family she comes from and, most importantly, the whole environment she was raised in, with all its difficulties, and trauma, and ugliness. But she cannot be separated from it, because it shaped her. Nina is a product of that. She does perceive it, and so she comes to the realisation he doesn’t fully understand her. Because that’s the point: if he doesn’t understand the violence she was exposed to from a very young age, if he doesn’t understand the treatment she received from her family, if he doesn’t understand how deeply Stefano affected her, then he cannot understand her. He cannot understand her necessity to do something for herself, to prove—not even to others, but to herself—that there is so much more than she can do.
To make a practical example of this: the way Tommy keeps her out of some stuff because he wants to protect her, the way he hides himself after beating the shit out of that man in front of her in ch.2, it’s all because he wants to shield her from the bad stuff of the world. And it’s normal in some way, cause he loves her. But considering the place Nina grew up in, there is nothing he can protect her from she hasn’t already seen. He underestimates that, and consequently, he underestimates her ability to handle bad stuff.
And that will have to get fixed. It will take time, and effort, but it’s necessary for them to actually build something. And it couldn’t really be any other way.
Summary: In summer of 1904, Rose kissed a boy for the first time and wasn't at all what she expected. This summer of 1905, maybe that could change. Even if it is "staged."

Summers back then meant spending the weekends in the countryside, near a river that was visited by gooses and ducks. There was a swing made long ago, probably before any of them was born, that they used to jump right into the water, wetting all those around them. Early in the morning, the friends picked up their bikes and they only returned when the sunset began.
That was more or less the time James and Rose started to get interested in the other. Back in time were the days when they were kids playing together, the adolescence had brought new feelings. The downside was that it was going to be the last summer together, before James went to Oxford.
Those days wasn't rare to see them apart of the group of friends, talking alone. Their heads always together as if they have been sharing secrets that no one else but them knew. The glimpses, the smiles. The way his thumb brushed her chin or how she used to put flowers behind his ear, on the same spot he used to put his cigarettes. Rose said that the flowers were prettier and he didn't contradict her, because he knew she was right.
Their friends teased them. Except Samuel because "ew, why are you interested in my sister?" But both of them always dismissed their words. "It's not true", they used to say. But everyone knew, even themselves, that it wasn't a simple friendship.
Albert McKenzie was a friend of Jared, who one day popped up among the group and the other seemed to be part of it. A group that originally was formed by the Walsh brothers, the two older Coldwells and two of three sisters Ivanova, suddenly had a complete stranger that James never liked. Let alone when the previous summer, he received a kiss from his friend although in Rose's words wasn't nice. Not the kiss, not him.
James expected that the last summer he was going to spend in London before Oxford, was going to be without McKenzie but it wasn't the case. He went to Cambridge the year before and returned more arrogant than ever, not even Jared liked him anymore. The three brothers Walsh belonged to a social circle that the Coldwells and the Ivanova girls only could dream of, but seeing the boys among them anyone couldn't believe that. Albert was different, his family was as rich as the Walshes were, but contrary to them he loved to presume that. Especially since that year Jared couldn't go to university to take care of Jay.
If the last summer Rose accepted to spend time with Albert, this one wasn't the case.
"Leave her alone," warned Jared once his friend insisted on kissing her again and she rejected him. There was a point when everyone, not just Rose, was uncomfortable thanks to him. The previous weekends all the members of the original group were enjoying as always but the moment he came, it was ruined.
Rose always thought James did it to protect her from Albert, to stop him from being a dick and so he finally could leave all of them alone.
The last time they saw Albert was the first, and for the moment, last time James kissed Rose.
The college boy was trying to catch her attention was again and that caused her to roll her eyes. Didn't matter what she'd say, Albert was determined to be with her and at this point she thought he was an idiot. Maybe was the oldest of the group but even Jay, that was 14, seemed to be more mature than him.
"Come," said James taking her hand.
What Albert couldn't understand, and never was going to understand, was how effortlessly Rose gravitated towards James. He didn't need to do anything for her to be there.
"Are you fine?" he asked her when were far enough from the rest to have some privacy.
She nodded, now was. Now that the other boy wasn't near her, she could breathe. She rested her head on his body and James put an arm around her. "That cunt," he added looking over his shoulder. Near the rest, Albert McKenzie looked like one of those mannequins that were in clothes stores. Albert was still, looking at the young friends doing what they used to do best: being not so secretly in love.
If he wanted to watch, then James was going to give him something to watch. Moving his head towards her, James stroke her cheek and fixed his blue eyes on hers.
None said a thing, but their body language said everything. At the same time they approached the other and their lips met. His mouth moved softly on hers and the contact sent electricity down her spine. When he put his hand on her cheek and pulled her closer to him. Rose let him.
The kiss was short, too short for them who wanted more but didn't dare to say it out loud. Too short for something that felt that good. It was just to kick Albert away from the group for once, since he only seemed to be interested in her. But just in case, James kissed her a second time.
They succeeded because when they turned around he wasn't there anymore although there was a mix of surprise and smiles on the rest of the group.
That Sunday, they were closer than ever before, she even rested her head on his lap and he played with her hair. They didn't mention what happened and the following weekend was like that the kiss never happened.
They didn't know it, but that was the last summer all group spent together. In Oxford James was going to meet his future partner, Anya Martin, and for the next three years Rose and James wouldn't be able to see eachother.
What those adolescents in 1905 didn't know either was that the next summer they were going to be together, after those three years apart, was going to be as husband and wife.
I love this little addition to James and Rose’s story. It makes Anya’s appearance in James’s life and Rose’s subsequent heartbreak even sadder. But it’s good to know that after all that heartbreak, things will work out between them.
It was nice to see how everybody seemed to know there was something going on between them, something they were too blind to see for themselves. And that fucking Albert needed someone to slap him in the face with the truth, so James was so real for that😂. It was also very funny to see him jealous🤭
