Media in all forms are greatly influential. Not only that, it can also come from anyone with the right resources to produce it. Especially at the current times wherein media spreads like wildfire. May it be factual or not, serious or joking, informative or just straight up lacking subject... as long as it entertains and catches the eye of the reader it can get anywhere by a minute.
This quarter truly taught me how we can all have the power to create media but not all use it the right way. Anyone can be a writer, influencer, creator, etc. but not everyone follow the rules and laws on how to properly use the platform. We may think that it is so easy to just post, it is so easy to just share, it is so easy because all it takes is one click. But, we keep forgetting how big this platform is, how this media can quickly affect anyone at any given time.
After learning through this quarter, I now know more about how I can be careful with media and how to use it as a tool that benefits people rather than taking advantage of it. I also learned how it progressed through the years and how beautiful the possibilities it possess. Media holds great power but with great power comes with great responsibility.
