So this dude trained his bee’s to take pollen from the cola’s of marijuana plants instead of flowers.. And in return the honey they produce is infused with THC and the product is essentially purified as it goes travels through the bee’s system (As normal bee enzymes make nectar into honey).. The product is a dank edible honey that will medicate the shit out of you. This guy wins all around.

Nicolas Trainerbees, the Beekeeper That Has Managed to Get His Bees to Make Honey with Cannabis Resin

Many are calling him a genius. The man is an artisan, locksmith and above all else, he explains, he is a beekeeper. He has over 4300 Facebook followers and 700 on Instagram after the 39-year-old Frenchman, who describes himself as an advocate of medical cannabis and of complete cannabis legalization, trained bees to make honey from cannabis.

He goes by the nickname of Nicolas Trainerbees, for obvious reasons. For 20 years, he has worked with bees in a way where he claims he is able to “train” them to make honey from virtually anything.

“I have trained bees to do several things, such as collect sugar from fruits, instead of using flowers,” he explains.

Nicholas says he has “been passionate about nature since childhood,” which led him to this profession that mixes his love for plant life with his love for animals – especially insects.

Nicholas calls the cannabis-honey produced by the bees “cannahoney” from “a training technique whereby the bees collect the resin and use it in the beehive.”

The final substance, he explains, is the sole work of the bees. “For some time I had known about the health benefits of bee products such as honey, propolis, pollen, wax and royal jelly and also about the benefits of cannabis,” and so he decided to take notice of the requests, he explains.

Add to that the fact that “everything that passes through the body of a bee is improved,” he said, since their enzymes make the nectar turn into honey.

“So if the bee took the resin from cannabis it would also be very beneficial.”“The aim arose for me to get the bees to obtain this resin,” he added. The “cannahoney” has “quite a floral” aroma and a color, he explains. It “is not smoked, it is ingested and it is good for health,” he adds. Nicolas says that“the bees accept any strain.”

So do the bees get high off of the cannabis they make the honey from?

“The bees that produce the cannahoney are not affected by cannabinoids because they do not have an endocannabinoid system,” he says. It’s just another form of food for them.

i never talk about these things but i can’t remain silent.

i know tumblr doesn’t give a SHIT when things happen in countries outside the “most popular ones” (such as the usa & england). it’s true, don’t lie to me. y’all don’t give A FUCK. not every issue and problem in said countries gets the appropriate exposure but in general shit shows up on the news WORLD FREAKING WIDE. you set up donations, you help out, your spread the word, you say “pray for x”……

people are dying - at home, on the road, trying to run away, in their cars.

yesterday my country had 300 active fires.

people are losing EVERYTHING they own.

i have a friend that is on a train right now passing through places that have been burnt to the ground and she says the smoke is so intense it’s getting inside the train and she can barely breathe.

and yet, even though several people (myself included) have been trying to bring awareness to what has been happening in southern europe… what we get from most of you, those not part of the countries suffering, is silence. we don’t ask for money, we don’t ask for shit other than a reblog to spread awareness… something you can delete in 24/48hrs if you wish.

i don’t know what to tell you. i’m angry. i’m frustrated. i’m disappointed. i feel like i’m screaming into the void. “a reblog does nothing” - you know that’s a damn lie, you know exposure always helps, you know people start paying attention when posts on social media become popular. my country in particular is a small one, we get ZERO exposure. y’all are only starting to figure out we even fucking exist bc of the shit we’ve been winning lately.

but hell, if the EU doesn’t give a shit, why should some user on tumblr dot com?

This is fucking important. I am glad someone fucking spoke about this and said what they had to say. The damage is terrible, and all the evergreen, stone, even the ground is black. I was fucking terrified when Croatia was burning. The fire was near a village where I like and I thought it will burn down. I thought the church will burn down. I thought the cemetery where my grandpa is buried will burn. I still remember the smell of smoke, and when I went to check how bad is fire, my clothes and hair and skin all stunk of smoke. It didn’t go away for weeks.
