as i’ve grown more busy these last few months, i haven’t had much time or energy to dedicate to my taxidermy collection and i’ve decided to start downsizing. i would be much happier knowing that these pelts were being appreciated as much as they deserve!! right now, i’m starting out with selling my strawberry/liver-colored coyote pelt and my glacier fox. both are complete pelts and in good condition! i’m looking for $225 for the coyote and $265 for the glacier fox. these are just the pictures i was able to find while searching through my phone since both pelts are currently in storage, but i would be more than happy to get them out and snap more pics if anyone is interested, just shoot me a message!! c:

I’ve had this guy for over a year now. I purchased him from Glacaierwears warehouse here in Maine from the Red Coyote selection for $65 and he totally stood out from the rest. But after some concluding and help from others. I believe he is a yearling wolf! He’s rather large, with super small ears. The coat and fur colors aren’t like that of a coyotes at all. Idk? If anyone has any other thoughts let me know!

she’s here!!! my complete liver coyote! she’s SO much lighter irl than the pics the seller sent me, @livinwilds helped me edit these pics to try and show her light color more accurately! she’s absolutely stunning, there’s not a dark fur on her body! even her little whiskers are brown <3 i’m absolutely in love with her, i didn’t expect to be as taken with her as i am! i’d love to get her full-body mounted someday. i’ve decided her name will be umbra 💕

Vulture culture peeps!! If you went to college (no shame if you didnt!!) what did you study? If you didn’t go but could or had to what would you study? I dont really have a reason for asking other than curiosity and trying to find my own path. I’d love to hear from all of you!! Much love 💚💚💚

I started off in business but then switched to art! I got my BFA in Art with a focus on ‘mixed media sculpture’ (fancy way of saying taxidermy since the school didn’t officially offer taxidermy lol). If my swap hadn’t taken me and extra two years of classes I would have continued with business to get my minor but after 6 years I just wanted to get out of there tbh @____@

I’m currently in Natural and Historical Interpretation! Which is just a fancy way of saying, I wanna be a naturalist. I take courses where I have to learn about the surrounding area (i.e. 150 species of trees, medicinal herbs, historical reenactment, wildlife eco and id, etc) and learn how to teach others about it!

as promised, more pics of the coyote head mount that @livinwilds and i made!! i got the idea from an adorable red fox mount made by furryiouswolf on deviantart and i loved it so much i had to make something similar! i ordered the head and paws from hide and fur. the head was supposed to be taxidermy quality, but there was no eyelid skin. thankfully the plan all along was to mount it with the eyes closed, so it worked out alright. once we put it in the water to soak, we got an unexpected surprise— he had a nub left ear! it wasn’t that it had been damaged with skinning/tanning; it must’ve been an injury or deformity that happened during his life, as the ear was completed healed over! we modified the earliner and it came out adorable <3 because of the cute little rounded ear, i’ve decided to call him bear. i’m super glad that we were able to give him new life!!
