Poetry is why I’m here, why I’m still alive.
Stop apologizing for everything. Stop apologizing for taking selfies, for listening to your body, for resting, for not going out tonight because you’d rather spend time at home recharging, for not being perfect, for taking up space. Stop apologizing for your very existence. You deserve to be here. Do whatever it is that you need to do to be happy or maybe even just to survive today, celebrate yourself, love yourself, be kind to yourself and others, and be 100% unapologetically yourself. You are strong, you are worthy, you are enough.
destroy the idea that crying is negative. crying is relief, a way to let all of the sadness, anger, joy and emotion out. end the idea that we need to stop crying, stop letting out emotion, stop being human. end it.

There is a certain beauty in death..
Be wary of the cassowary. Though flightless, this ancient species sports ninja-like moves when needed: debilitating kicks with long legs armed with dagger-like claws; sprinting up to 30 miles per hour; ability to spring 5 feet in the air from a standstill; and a swimmer’s pace worthy of the Olympic Games. Meet this formidable avian.
