Questions on cosplay!

I’m going to be attending Florida Supercon this year and I’d like to cosplay as grown up Ellie from The Last of Us Part 2. This will be my first time cosplaying so I have a few questions. Is there any wrong way to cosplay? I’m tan compared to Ellie but will it still be okay? And to legit eyebrow slit or not to eyebrow slit? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I don’t think there’s ever a wrong way to cosplay! It’ll be fine regardless of if you’re tanner than her.
