"Never, I’ve been calling you Huddy since like the 4th grade and there’s no way in hell I’m going to stop now." She laughed, pinching his cheeks lightly before nodding. "Alright, you’re so on. 5 bucks they get together within the month because Oli speaks up first." She said, confident her friend would be the first to make the first move.

"I speak up first for what?" Olivia asked, walking towards the couple. "You guys seen Ori by the way? I really need to talk to him about something." She continued, the last line making Julie through a small grin towards Hudson.

Hudson just gave a roll of his eyes and pushed away Julie's hands from his cheeks, a small smile curving his lips when Olivia came by.

"He's probably around here somewhere. He wouldn't leave without you Ollie, and speaking of other halves" There was absolutely no discretion on the last bit "Do you mind if we ask you a favor?"

Olivia tried to make it she wasn’t hurt by his statement. “Uh, sure. I guess Sunday could work. How about it guys? Sunday okay?” She asked again, turning away from Orion. When everyone had finally agreed, Olivia smiled and got up from the table. “I’m going to bathroom.” She muttered, grabbing her book and walking out swiftly.

Orion almost reached out for her when she started walking away. Almost. But he stopped himself right before he did and let out a small sigh. How could he ruin the surprise party they'd set up? He didn't even know why she was upset but he knew how to make it up to her and it was all a matter of persistence and waiting now.

"Cold, dark and rainy." Tyler said thoughtfully. "You want to order some food now or a little bit later? That doesn’t count as a question does it?" He asked, letting out a small grin.

"A bit later works and don't worry, I'm not going to be stingy about the questions so you're off the hook"

Alaska grinned before taking another sip of her cherry soda with obvious delight. She always did love cherry drinks.

"I guess you could say that." He nodded, before shooting her a thumbs up. He ran up to his room and quickly grabbed a pack of smokes and his jacket before slamming the door and running back down. Hayden tossed her the pack before slipping on his jacket. "Had an extra packet at home, I thought you might want to hang on to that."

Thistle snatched it from the air easily in one hand and flashed him a charming smile.

"A boy after my own heart newbie. How considerate; anyways, where are you taking me now?"

Hayden couldn’t help but grin as he walked out of the class happily chatting away with a girl he had met inside. They both shared a common love for playing the guitar and music in general. He was just about to ask her if she wanted to meet up later that night when something else caught his attention. “I’ll call you later then Beth.” He gave her a quick hug before turning his attention to Thistle.

"The luckiest a newbie can be when he’s taking you out." He grinned. "First, we make a stop at my apartment. I need to grab something." Hayden said, turning towards the dorm rooms.

Thistle smirked, eyes following Beth Chandler walk away with a giddy look on her face. Obviously someone was crushing on newbie. Cute.

"New fan huh? She's cute. Anyways, go grab it, I'll be out here. Not to burst your bubble or anything but Elliot is a fucking slob after one too many smokes"

During the entire class, Olivia couldn’t stop smiling and fiddling with the necklace. It was all it took for her not to run out the door as soon as the bell rang, it was finally lunch time. She wasted no time walking into the cafeteria, only stopping for a second to look around before she locked her eyes with a familiar pair of brown eyes.

She made her way through a maze of students and sat down with her group of friends, “Hey guys, I was thinking since everyone was busy during my birthday, including me, we could maybe have like a pool party or something during the weekend?” She suggested, her eyes flickering towards Orion.

Orion gave a supportive smile at lunch as she announced her plans for the party before Anne tugged on his shirt and leaned over to remind him of their plans, making him frown the slightest.

"Uh, sorry Ollie, can't do. I've got plans with Anne this weekend. Maybe Sunday?"

"Can’t really argue with you there." She said. "Alrighty then, Olivia and Orion it is and maybe we can get them to put in some wages too." The blond wiggled her eyebrows before standing up and grabbing Hudson’s arm. "Come on Huddy, we have to go find them before they both pull a disappearing act, but like how do they even disappear so fast? I mean they’re like ninja’s you know? One moment they’re here and the next, bam, they’re gone." She said, her face scrunching up a little in confusion.

"Please stop with the Huddy. It's almost as embarrassing as you thinking you're going to win this bet"

Hudson grinned, laughing at her confusion at Olivia and Orion always disappearing to somewhere or the other.

"Well it's obviously because those two can't get enough of each other. Now that's a bet worth making. 5 bucks they get together within the month if Ori speaks up for once"

Alaska let out a soft laugh and flashed him a thumbs up to let him know that was the correct answer.

"Good- I can't live without cake and, as for the question it depends. I like looking at them but I'm absolutely terrified of cats and dogs if they come close to me. They're quite cute from afar though- strange I know but I can't help it. Now let's see... rain or sunshine?"

"Well then, let me just add that to the list of things I’ve been called before and I have music so no, I won’t be skipping." He grinned, letting out a small chuckle as he watched her pick up her bag and leave. That girl really was a walking whirlwind, he thought as he grabbed his own bag and headed out.

Hayden stepped into the busy corridor, pulling out his list of classes and looking around before finally figuring out which way to go.

Thistle hadn't lied when she'd said she was going for a smoke. It just so happened to be with Elliot who just so happened to be Hayden's roommate at the current moment. Out of interest she ended up asking about Hayden and was surprised when Elliot didn't have much to say. Usually he knew what was going on but, then again, maybe it was the marijuana affecting him at the time. Oh well, perhaps she'd find the other later in the day if she found another wave of curiosity.

So it was no surprise when, at the end of the college day she was out waiting for Hayden to come by and, when he finally did, she just gave him an easy smile.

"So you're taking me out for a beer tonight. How lucky are you newbie? Anyways, after you"

"Hey." She cried, reaching over and messing up his hair. "No one flicks me and gets away with it." A laugh escaped her lips, "You have crap taste Huddy, that’s why you still haven’t fallen for me yet. I mean just look at the girls you’ve been with so far, none of them could ever compare to me." Julie nodded, sliding into the seat next to him.

"And I don’t cry, so you can just dream on." Julie took the two hundreds from the table and looked around the room, "Now who can we trust with our money?"

"The reason I haven't fallen for you is because you're my friend remember Jules? Also, please, friend wise, yeah, no one can compare but every aspect otherwise?"

Hudson just smirked before looking thoughtful at her question, the tip of his tongue touching the corner of his mouth just the slightest.

"Well I was going to say Thistle but everyone knows she'd blow our money at a seconds notice just for kicks so how about Olivia or Orion? Those two seem like our best option"

"Well, I can’t really make that judgement seeing as it is only my first day is it?" He whispered back to her, placing his pen down and starting to fiddle with the ring on his finger instead. "But hey, just a couple of minutes more and we can break free of this snore fest. What class you got next?"

Thistle let out an overly exaggerated sigh at that and rolled her eyes, brows going up the slightest at his question.

"I've got a free period newbie which means it's cigarette break time. Lemme guess, you've got one of those new age classes or- hm, no, you seem more like an artsy guy. Some sort of art I take it? Which means that you're not going to skip because, of course, you're a newbie"

She smirked but not in an unkind way. It was just her being her usual self and, as the bell rang she didn't bother to wait for him as the picked up her bag and made for the door. If she wanted him she'd find him; that was the way she worked.
