Rob has asked me to write this down. He is still in the hospital very weak and very sick his fam is 24 hours a day at his bedside. We are preparing our self for bad news. Rob says hi to you al. Tim
With great sorrow and pain I have received word that my dear follower and fellow-shirtfan and blogger Rob-50 has passed away! I am in shock! He has graced my blog with many submissions - with shared experiences and was a great pal to chat to!
We never know when our bell is rung - enjoy your lives and love hard! Join me in wishing his departing soul all the best! And watch out for each other - be kind to each other!

So this means what, that my blog’s main page is going away? I have my own personal domain (kabutocub.com) and I’ve put a lot of work into the look and functionality of my blog over the years… so this is pure unfair horseshit.

See, there are reasons I’ve never done that, and to do that would quite honestly suck. You see my blog? that’s me. That’s my brain, those are my interests. Doctor Who, a furry butt, Steven Universe, a sexy cub, Bara, sex. Unfiltered. You follow that crazy mix of content and you are following ME. And yes, I will probably have to do do that if my homepage is essentially killed off, but that will just be a hassle. I hate thinking that my main presence on Tumblr will become as sanitized and quite frankly BORING as it is on Facebook. BLEH
Really this is only going to effect people who are not logged into tumblr and if they are using safe mode. The blog itself isn’t going to be removed or anything like that
The problem is the way Tumblr treats blogs that are NOT accessible from outside of Tumblr (like the ones set to private). That would mean my blog would be relegated to living on a side-loaded window within your Tumblr dashboard. When that happens what you see is a watered-down, mobile version of your blog, kind of like what you see from within the Tumblr app. You lose all custom formatting, logos, HTML code, custom menus, etc. Essentially you lose the essence of my blog. And typing kabutocub.com would open up your dash and that side window, assuming you are logged in, essentially making a custom domain for an NSFW blog useless. I know that for a lot of people this change doesn’t sound like such a big deal and I get that. But in my case, and possibly many others it means losing some of what makes their blogs unique.
