Spain Romano and 19 please??
Preface: So I was actually going to try to be ânormalâ and use Lovino/Antonio instead of Felice/Antonio but the idea that âCome home with meâ gave me applied to a roleplay I had done with Felice so the ficlet turned out like this.
Warnings: This story glosses over suicidal and abusive topics. Please use caution.
Note: This was based on a roleplay event and while I tried to give it enough context, I may not have given it enough. Basically Felice is letting himself drown after an attacker knocks him in the river, because he is upset about events the day prior. He and Antonio had attempted to have some nice âalone timeâ but memories caused Felice a breakdown.
ComeHome with Me ~ Felice/Antonio
âFelice...!Felice, just come home. You have to come home with me!â
Felicecould hardly hear him, and Antonio grew more fitful as he punched hislover's attacker in the face. How had it all come to this? To wherehe was allowing himself to drown in a river...to where he did notwant to lift himself to safety...? Had his mind finally derived sobadly that he no longer believed that Antonio really loved him atall? And yet here the Spaniard was, fighting with a street robberthat had tried to attack Felice...and all Felice was doing was lyingin the river, his head under the water and all.
Butstill, Felice had heard those words.
Antoniosaid them a lot, it seemed. But he knew that wasn't necessarily true,it was just that...
âComehome with me, okay?â
Whenhe was little, lost, and all alone. When he was just a young childthat no one wanted because all he had was his inheritance. Antoniohad found him after he had runaway from the Spaniard's house...andreached out to him. Felice hadn't been able to contain his shock, hethought Antonio had grown weary of having him around. He thought hisdisappearance would relieve the man...
âComeon, its okay. I'll miss having you around if you go now.â
âYou...wouldmiss me...?â
âFelice...! Can you hear me...?â
Felice blinked as he lay under that water, wondering exactly howAntonio expected that to be answered. Even when he sat up, he wasgoing to have a lot of water to cough up... How had it come to this?Had his abusive from the second player Ottoman Empirepersonifications been so bad...? Had Damla and Ekrem devastated himso bad...? Yes...that was why last night had been a disaster...andwhy he had come to this bridge this morning.
Still...maybe it was time to believe in Antonio...though that thoughtspread the choking ache through his chest. If he didn't make hischoice soon, he was going to have his death wish...!
âFelice...! Damn you, get out of here...!â
The robber...he was still fighting that robber... For Felice's sake,he was still fighting that damn robber...!
âComehome with me. I'll nurse you back to health, okay?â
Hehad been at his house, sick and alone...Antonio didn't want him to bealone...
âComehome with me, Felice. You don't have to stay at your house all thetime.â
Hedidn't want him to be in pain...all by himself...
âAlright, this hospital is exhausting. I'm taking you home, will you come withme?â
âYoudon't know how to put broken bones in a cast!â
âDon'tbet on that, Felice~â
Butwhat Antonio didn't understand was...
The searing pain in his breathless lungs choked as Felice sat up outof the water, coughing excessively to spit all the liquid out of hislungs. He knew Antonio was already going to scold him for trying todrown, he just wanted to get all of this to stop as he coughed allthe water up. A scream followed, joined by running footsteps atAntonio finally got the attacker to flee.
âFelice...! I was so scared when you were missing...!â
âYou...you came for me...â was all Felice could manage once thewater exited his lungs.
âWhy would I not? Felice, home isn't home for me unless you'rethere...â
Felice blinked, before closing his eyes with the most calm sigh as hestood up, âMy home is wherever you are. That's why I always camehome with you.â
As Felice staggered out of the water, Antonio's arms came around himto support him, before picking him up.
âLet's go home. And Felice...?â
âI'm sorry last night caused your mind to turn on you. Butplease...don't ever try to do that again...â
âI'd just come back...â
âFelice...! You died enough! When Damla and Ekrem had you and whenBianka beheaded you...you died enough! Don't...don't do that...â
The cry stunned Felice for merely a moment as he then cuppedAntonio's cheeks to wipe away the tears, âToni, it's okay...â
Before the Spaniard could speak again, Felice carefully kissed him ashe rested in the man's arms. As deep as he could, to settle the perileating their minds...
âI won't do it again. But one day...I will make sure my mind isstrong enough...to give all of me to you.â
âWhen that day comes...I'll be as gentle with you as one shouldbe.â
âI mean, I wouldnât know, because SOMEONE TOOK MY LEGS OFF THE GROUND.â
âCome home with me, Felice,â chuckled Antonio.
âAntonio...I would never go anywhere else.â
From the Ponte Sisteo, Antonio began the trek back to their home. He certainly was glad it wasnât faraway, here in Rome...
