Have you ever heard or read an interpretation of your dream and it really makes sense? I just had a nightmare last night, it was so spine-chilling for me! In the dream I felt so helpless and so suffocated. I reinstalled Tumblr for this friggin story 😂 I will probably update later.
Just for today ... since I really had to write this one. It was action-packed and I never had a dream like this for a very long time. An extremely long post is coming up!
In this dream, I was a solder. I was with me team when we went out to train. The weird part is, we went to train out in the graveyard. It was one of those ‘courage tests’. Now as a skeptic, it wasn’t that hard for me to go over the layout of the graveyard and was able to successfully achieve all the tasks that needed to be done. The training finally ended and we all went back.
My cousin Louise was with me in the house that time and she was minding her own business until she called me to go with her to the basement to fetch some spices. The basement was big… like really big. You could fit a whole town in there. It was like a fallout shelter. We stored everything in there and of course… the spices that she needed. It was night time and it was quiet. As we descend the stairs, our footsteps could be heard echoing throughout the basement. It was like a cave down there. There were different isles for different things like how you see isles on grocery stores. She took picked out some spices here and there and then we went back up.
While walking back towards the stairs, she was oddly silent. She’s the talkative type so it was odd for me that she was silent. There was nothing to talk about anyway so I just shrugged it off.
“What if there are ghosts down here?” She asked out of the blue.
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“Ghosts. Spirits.”
“Ahh, I really don’t know how to respond to that?” I was a skeptic so I really didn’t know what she was aiming for. She suddenly went silent again. It was so eerie that I didn’t talk also. When we started to ascend the stairs, the lights started to flicker.
“Is there a power problem or something?” I asked.
“I told you…” She whispered. “… There’s a ghost in here.”
“What do you mean ghost? There is no such thing.” We reached the door by this time and as I opened it, I saw Louise on the other side.
“Louise? Wha-…“ I looked behind me and to my surprise, the ‘Louise’ that was with me was gone. “Weren’t you with me a moment ago? How did you end up out here before I could?”
“Me? What are you talking about? I was just upstairs doing my homework. What do you mean I was wit-…” she paused. “Oh.”
“Oh?”
“You probably met ‘it’.”
“Stop talking nonsense. What do you mean ‘it’?” She paused once more after my question and breathed.
“There’s ‘something’ down there that lures people when it gets bored. Don’t worry, it just wanted to scare you.”
“Wha-…“ I was speechless. I never thought that I would start to believe in such a thing.
Hey, I'm back! After years of having vague memories of my dreams, this one seemed to remain in my mind when I woke up. Maybe it was too terrible for me to even forget? Well anyway, the nightmares are back. I'm expecting more to come since my mental health is not that great.
That aside, here's my dream.
In this dream, I have a curse. I call it curse because it does harm to me more than good. This curse is to sense spirits and without even my consent, they invade my memory and allow me to see their own memories just before they die and of course feel the same feeling as what they feel during those times. It takes a tol on me mentally and physically. My blood pressure would rise when I am put in any horrible situation and when the memory ends, I space out... as if my soul is still on its way back to my body. Sometimes it takes a minute, sometimes it takes hours. My friends always worry when I use this curse to investigate because they fear that someday my soul might not find its way back to my body. And that's exactly why I choose wisely which case to investigate.
Last time we were out to investigate a castle with a little girl haunting it. They wanted to know how to get rid of the girl. It was one of my most challenging cases yet because it took me three straight nights to understand the situation and of course allowing the spirit to invade me within those nights.
My friends called me to go back to the castle because they held a little banquet for us but I still had classes so after class, I went straight to the castle. I was still wearing my PE uniform so it was kind of embarrassing seeing people in dresses and suits. They understood though and didn't mind it. I was looking for my friends when someone told me they were in one of the castle's rooms. I went up and saw one of my friends in a dress. She brought me back downstairs and out to a backdoor. Surprisingly, the back door led to an open field. It was dark with only a bonefire in the middle but there were a lot of people outside. There's a little lake and some ruins which seemed like it used to be a part of the castle.
There was music playing, it was just a set of beats and then some time later, there were a few people rapping. I was confused of what was happening because nobody told me any details. They just screamed and laughed and moved along the beat. After a while, a sharp sound entered my ears and I felt a familiar pain on my chest. I suddenly realized that someone slapped my chest with a sticky substance that looked like blood but when I went closer to the fire, I realized that it was used car oil.
"What are you doing?! Don't just stand there! The one that has the most tags loses and has to stay out here overnight!" I suddnely realized that they were playing a game. I walked to another area and asked.
"Why are you in this side?"
"So that I can run away and avoid getting tagged!"
"You can do that?"
"Yes! Obviously! What did you expect, just hide and hope to not be found?"
"... Something like that. Hey I'm new here but thanks for the tip!" After a while, I understood the basics.
There were three teams in total: Two opposing and one neutral. The neutral were the rappers. All they do is rap free style to the beat. They were the most crucial team in the game. The second team were the runner. They run until they get tagged. Once they get tagged, they have to waid until the next "verse" is sung before they could play again. The last ones were the chasers.
Here's how it worked, the rappers sing until the whole song or game if finished. The chasers start chasing the runners once the chorus starts. So the runners had to pay attention to the song because only the chasers and the rappers know when the chorus will start.
Now I didn't want to spend the night in there so I did my best. Luckily, I only had one hand print on my chest which means I was only tagged once. It was tiring but the game ended and we went to another location for a second game. I got tagged once again at the back but that's all until the game ended. I had a total of two tags within two games so I wasn't the loser.
After the game, I went back to my new appartment. Because I was so tired, I slept on the bench directly with drenched and dirty clothes. I woke up after a while and realized that I still had my makeup on. I went to find a mirror and found one hanging on the window which was next to the door. I took the mirror and examined myself but what I saw wasn't myself. The reflection had a beard and chapped skin. I moved the mirror in different angles to make sure it was a mirror but it did not reflect myself. Instead, it reflected a man in his mid 30's. I suddenly remembered why I was in that place. The landlady told me to investigate the appartment which had a previous fire accident a year ago. I concluded that the man in the mirror was the fire victim who died alone in this appartment.
Having experienced most of these supernatural occurences, I got used to it already and since I was a bit freaked out, I put the mirror back to the window and went back to the bench. I took my dirty shirt off and was supposed to take a photo to post and inform everyone about the game that we just had but then a distand sound of a grandfather's clock was heard. It signaled the strike of noon. Suddenly, I had a difficulty in breathing. My body was heavy but I dashed slowly towards the door which was the only exit. I didn't dare look back because I felt like the mad that I saw in the mirror was right behind me. I couldn't afford any more invading because I was so worn out the last time. I needed to rest.
When I reached the door and got out, I looked back before going down the stairs. He was there. He was going my direction. He was after me. When I got down the stairs, I saw two of my acquaintances and tried to call them, but nothing came out from my mouth and the more I ran towards them, the further they seemed to be.
"I can't afford any more invations! I don't want to feel another pain, I'm afraid my body can't take it!" I pushed myself to walk faster but I just couldn't take it anymore and my body was getting heavier. WIth one last breath, I forced myself and I suddnely woke up in my sleep panting like hell.
We were asked to make a poem about a great experience that we had. It didn't have to be in rhymes but it makes me uncomfortable so I did it in rhymes xD
Yep, that's my ugly handwriting.
"Pencil"
I never imagined how a single pencil
Made me who I am today
It was like a baby's first utensil
A lady's first batch of boquet
So magical it was on that particular time
That it could not be described my mere words in rhymes
A single pencil has shaped my whole being
Scribbles and sketches, such a wondrous feeling
For a shy and timid person, such as I
As fragile and weak as a little butterfly
I held on to that pencil, scribbling away
On the thin piece of paper my emotions stay
SURPRISE! I'M ALIVE! THIS BLOG STILL LIVES! JUST NOT THAT ACTIVE THO
My apologies for having a knack of forgetting my dreams and taking forever for me to write them down and update this blog. I know it has been dead for months now but I will try to bring it back to life. Since I am taking up creative writing, I will also use this blog as a medium in expressing and improving my ability in doing so ... so there will be slight changes. I will no longer write contents of my dreams alone but also include other personal experiences, written differently as I usually write (I mean "trying" to write differently hahaha)
The shriek of the rusted gate signals the black gate opening. You stand there, frozen, staring blankly at the opened gate; hesitant of proceeding to go in. It was different this time, it does not feel like your usual place. It feels… odd. You feel like a stranger venturing a new area as you slowly pass through the gate with your cold hands clutching to the handles of your heavy bicycle. The rustling sounds of the plastic with water bottles distracts you for a moment until silence once again envelops your surroundings. Echoes fill the empty stairs as you slowly ascend to the second floor. Every step feels like a thousand needles plunging into your feet as you make your way to the second floor. The closer you reach the top, the harder it is for you to proceed. You finally face the familiar wooden door but once again feel strange about it. Something in it is very odd, very different. You hesitantly dig for your keys in your slightly loose pocket and proceeded to look for the right key. Finally, you found it. As you insert it to the keyhole, that odd feeling is back, yet again. You argue with yourself whether you should twist the key or not. “Kachack!” goes the door as you finally decide to open it. Darkness then envelopes you with a deafening silence… It was here. It was this place. And you are here once again. You remember that someone broke in to your room. Chills ran down your spine as you remember that time when you arrived home with your laptop missing and your things scattered all over the floor as if a typhoon just passed by. You start to think once again, how that person might have been observing you. When you sleep. When you leave. When you arrive back. You just want to get out of here as soon as you can. To pack all your things and leave, never to come back again. But you are here. You have no choice. You cannot move to another place yet. You need to sleep. So you turned on your lights, change your clothes, and head to bed; only to find out that you cannot sleep. The anxiety battles against you making you think of things and keeping you awake. Your alarm rings. It’s already time for school. Ps. This isn't from my dream but hey at least it's something.
I crawled my way to him, even though I already know that I couldn’t make it.
*What are you doing?! You can’t make it in time. What will you do when you arrive? You can’t do anything!*
My monologue intensified but I still continued to crawl towards Iri. Things were not looking so good for the both of us...
"What in the world?!" the guard saw Iri, which was now crawled up like a mouse in the corner.
"H-hi there! How on earth did you find me?" his sweating intensified and I could sense his throat was dry. The guard raised his sword and was about to swing it to Iri until...
"Hold on there mister!" I interrupted him just in time. "You don't want to bring a sword in a gun fight do ya?" He was distracted for the slightest second and I saw it as our great opportunity to escape. "Iri, grab everything and let's-..." when I looked back at the guard, he was just standing there still... doing nothing...
"...-ing of ...-ah"
"W-what's he mumbling about?" I asked myself.
"Don't ask me, I have no idea what's going on."
"I wasn't asking you... I was talking to myself," I decided to slowly walk back towards the dazed guard.
"...ring ....-ah" I still couldn't make out what he's saying so I went even closer.
"...the ring of Ra... obey... ring... of... Ra... subject to ring... of Ra..." by this time I got most of the picture. Even though his sentences were not that clear, I understood clearly.
"What's he saying?" Whispered Iri from the distance.
"I think I got this one!" I whispered back. After instructing the dazed guard, he went back to his post like nothing happened and continued his job.
"What just happened?" Iri asked me again.
"Oh nothing. It was just from a little gift of my friend who's currently in Egypt right now," I smirked at him.
"And what would that be? And why did he go back to his post like nothing happened?!"
"Ahh questions. More questions. The answer to all those, my friend, is this," I took a necklace out from my pocket which had a ring for a pendant. "Behold! The ring of Ra! Legend has it that it protects the one who possessed it; and that you could control basically anyone with it."
"GET OUT! No way!"
"You want to be the second one to try it out?" I held it up to his face.
"Okay, okay. I've seen enough... I just couldn't believe it though. Such a thing exists?"
"Me neither... up until it actually saved us," both of us sighed a relief and was about to go back and continue what we were doing until we were reminded of the receiver.
**BANG!!** **CRASH!!**
“VOYCE, IRI, WHERE ARE YOU?! WE’VE COME TO GET YOU!” the alarms went off and everything was in chaos.
*Of course, base camp didn’t have that much patience. Well, it was for the best.*
“Can ANY of you explain what just happened?! Why haven’t we received any signals from you after about thirty minutes?!” of course the commander was furious, the infiltration turned out to be a waste of time.
“I-It’s all my fault…” Iri finally spoke after freezing in fear.
“HE’S WRONG!” that voice… “It was my fault, commander. I have failed to check the set properly before handing it to Iri,” ahh Lac. The klutz of the team. Always laid back like everyday is leisure day.
“You do know the consequences of the actions that you just made are not that easy?”
“You can drill it to me boss, just not to Iri here. This is just his second mission after all.”
*Second? No wonder he was so shaken during the previous mission when I saw him…*
The commander sighed. “Alright. I’ll let it slip this time. But please DO remember next time Lac that every mistake you make is a loss to the organization.”
“Yessir!”
“And you too, Iri. Let this be a lesson to you.”
“Understood, sir!”
“Also, all of the equipment used and damaged during this mission will be deducted from your salary, Lac. I just can’t be handing candies to children the whole time.”
“Oh man! I guess I’ll be dining with rats for the rest of the month!”
*Is this guy serious?!*
“Don’t worry Voyce, by rat he meant me. Everything wouldn’t be a failure if he did his job properly but I guess I’m at fault too so I’ll have to take responsibility.”
“And feed this guy?!” I finally spoke. I have not communicated with people ever since I came to this organization. I only talked when I was given orders…
“Looks like you’re starting to sound alive, agent Voyce,” the commander looked back at me one more time before leaving his office to deal with the papers needed for the next mission.
*… I-I guess this was his reason for assigning me together with agent Iri…* I couldn’t help but chuckle.
“…ce! …-ey Voyce?! … Voyce you going or not?!” I snapped back to reality when Iri called out to me. “You coming? Lac is gonna have an apology party and of course to celebrate meeting a new friend before he gets broke.”
“M-me?”
“Yeah you!”
“S-sure…” he then grabbed me and we went out to the commander’s office, following Lac as he walked with a pained face… the face that knows what will happen in his near future thinking of all the expenses wasted on that mission.
"You are gathered here for a briefing. Each and everyone of you are assigned to different locations and have different tasks prepared for each individual. Voyce, you're going to be looking for the enemy base within this area and build the control center within that base."
"W-wait a minute! You mean I have to build a mini headquarters from scrap within the enemy base?! You think building CC is that easy? ...and from scrap at that!"
"Don't worry, you're not alone. We're sending someone else to help you out."
"Sir, with all due respect, but you already know that I'm not compatible with most of the agents in the organization. I'm pretty sure whoev-eeeeeerrrrrrr!!" my question was cut off when I was pushed outside towards the opened back latch of the helicopter.
"We're counting on you, agent! If you can't build CC, the whole operation can't start!"
"Whoooo iiiiisss asssssiiiiigned wiiiith meeeee?!" I shouted as I was instantly descending from the helicopter towards the field. I hurriedly pulled and opened my parachute just in time and slowed my descent.
I finally reached the field. It was a plain field and I was surprised that my arrival came unnoticed. I lied down there for a while wondering who my partner was going to be but after about five minutes, the piercing sun reminded me of my task and hurriedly kept my parachute back to where it belonged. There was a forest nearby so I crawled my way there. The trees were better compared to the fields where you are literally a walking target. I then marched my way towards a slope and slipped from the loose ground.
"Ow!" I fumbled on the dirt, picking myself up.
"Better watch it, agent. We don't want the lead to be hurt now of all times," a familiar voice I heard from the distance. I quickly stood up, dusting myself and searched for where the voice came from. And then there he was. Agent Iri (pronounced as "eye-ree"). Seen this guy before, we were assigned in the same task as a group in the previous mission. Not a pair though. I have never been this close to him, nor have I been talking to him this casual. The last time I saw him, we were running... attacking. There really was no time to talk. This time was different. I'm with him... alone... as partners...
*I'm screwed*
Well I don't see any problem with him just yet, although I'm really not good with partners and comrades and yada-yada. I'm best suited alone. Why would the commander give me a task with someone?
"Iri?"
"The one and only."
"I've seen you before..."
"...oh that time. Well I guess now's the time to get to know each other," he giggled.
"Listen, pal. I'm here for orders, not to chat around."
"Okay, okay," he raises his arms in defeat. "Whatever you say, boss."
"First, we have to find-..."
"The enemy base is over there, eight o'clock, about thirty-seven meters from here."
"How long have you been here?!" I asked in surprise.
"About an hour or so. Our helicopter actually passed by here first and there was not that much to talk about during briefing."
"Good job, agent," I said with a straight face, trying to hide the fact that I'm already annoyed by this. Sure, I'm thankful for what he did but I can't believe the commander didn't say anything about this!
We arrived at the enemy base by sundown and broke through security without any problems. The enemy were bandits ... such savages. Their faces covered with cloth and they were indeed armed. We had to be so descreet as to not be noticed and the hard part is to build CC from within the enemy base. Finally, we found a good spot. It was near the enemy's own headquarters and there were two armed guards beside the closed, metallic door, which was the only thing between us and the precious information that was inside that room.
Building CC wasn't actually hard, and we didn't actually had to make it from scratch. Control center doesn't have to be a big area. The smallest area could be inside a closet, a bathroom, or even a doghouse. What's hard is that the interference and the signals sent from CC should be undetectable by the enemy. That's where the hard part starts. We had to find a way for the signals to be unnoticed by the enemy, to disguise it as their own; and it should be untraceable. This is where my job starts.
I had already assigned Iri to start building CC while I watch over and keep a lookout.
Five minutes...
"Are you done?"
"No, it seems that our set is missing something..."
"Oh you have got to be kidding me! What are we missing?!"
"Just one though... the receiver."
"ARE YOU INSANE?!" I whispered intensely. "That's the most important part! Without the receiver, we won't be able to receive signals from base camp! Everything is useless without it! Didn't you check it before going?!"
"I didn't... Lac said he already checked it."
"Haven't you learned anything from all those years of training? Once you are given an item, it is basic protocol to check it yourself even though you were already told that it was checked."
"We were rushed!"
"Why didn't you check it in the helicopter?!"
"I was thrown out before I could check it..."
"This is going nowhere... I'll be back!"
"S-sorry ..." I left the poor thing to reflect on what he just did and went searching for an alternative.
Thirty minutes...
*Base camp is gonna freak out that they haven't heard from us for this long!*
Looking back at the guarded door, I noticed one guard missing.
*Oh shoot!*
I dashed towards where Iri was and saw the other guard approaching the area where he's hiding and continuously building CC.
*That idiot! He's way too loud!*
I crawled my way to him, even though I already know that I couldn't make it.
*What are you doing?! You can't make it in time. What will you do when you arrive? You can't do anything!*
My monologue intensified but I still continued to crawl towards Iri. Things were not looking so good for the both of us and then...

Extra content HERE (if the Ring of Ra will be included in the plot. Same ending tho...)
M’kay some notes OvO
First of all, I’ve modified this dream for it to make sense. The image below is actually the details of my dream but ... HOW THE HECK WOULD I FIT THE RING OF RA, THAT HYPNOTIZES PEOPLE, IN THIS STORY?! Long story short: I took it out and added some details like the commander and another extra character which was Lac.
This small segment from my nap shows me everything that I wanted to do but couldn’t do. Probably because I’m too scared to actually do something about it. Continue reading if you wanna know what’s been bugging me this whole time.
I live with my aunt, uncle, and cousin like how I do in real life. Also, I’m in my last year in college. But in this dream, my father is still alive. Walking towards the room where my father and mother is, I hear my mother asking me to do some chores downstairs so with a short sigh, I walk down the stairs and wash the dishes. After the chores, I decide to go back up to the room where they are but it feels like something is keeping me from entering the room. Chores here and there, even though I feel like I already cleaned the whole entire house.
Feeling so tired, I decide to try once again and walk towards the room where my parents are. Before I reach for the doorknob, I listen to any disturbances or interruptions that could happen but I hear nothing. It makes me feel so relieved because I am already tired by this time and anything else that will make me walk away from this spot that I’m standing on will probably make me insane.
I turn the knob and open the door. There, I see my mother by the window and my father on his desk, doing some engineer stuff. The aura is so uplifting until they start to ask me and pressure me about my studies. About my grades. About becoming a doctor. They talk as if I’m not there, even though they look straight at me. It hurt like hell. I can’t take it anymore. As much as I hate to talk back at them, which I never did during my younger days, I just can’t take it anymore. I start to cry. It starts with a small and quiet sob, and then burst into loud sobs. My parents look so surprised by what I just did.
“I AM DEPRESSED! I HAVE BEEN SINCE THIRD YEAR COLLEGE!” I shout. By now, they look confused. They obviously don’t know anything because I have been hiding what I really feel up until now.
“Why? What’s wrong? Why are you depressed?” More questions are asked. Without any hesitation, I just open my mouth and let out whatever word that wants to go out.
“I realized that I don’t want to be a doctor, or I’m not sure if I still want to proceed to medicine. But I realized it too late. Now I’m constantly struggling for a motivation because my grades are not that good and I already spent too much time in this course!”
“But we see you so happy. What’s probably dragging you down is your art and your games,” they try to reason out.
“ART AND GAMES IS WHAT’S KEEPING ME SANE! PAINTING DISTRACTS ME AND PLUNGES ME INTO MY OWN WORLD WHILE FORGETTING FOR A LITTLE BIT OF WHAT’S BEEN GOING ON IN MY LIFE. AND GAMES DO THE SAME TOO. IT MAKES ME FORGET FOR A LITTLE WHILE.”
“W-we ... didn’t know,” they say, wearing frowns on their faces. “If only we knew, we wouldn’t have to-”
“I’m sorry! I’m really sorry!” I interrupted them. More tears flow from me eyes and down my face. I have a hard time talking now. I open my mouth, but nothing comes out so I resorted to just crying.
Then I wake up feeling the same tears from my dream running down my cheeks. But I’m awake. I’m awake now, and yet the tears doesn’t stop...
My friends and I went to the town plaza to hang out. I had my small blue Cosé backpack with me. We went near the stage and hanged out a bit until a random kid accidentally fell over and hit me. I knew him but we’re not friends. Didn’t even talk to him at all. It hurt so much but he apologized so I let it slip.
We decided to go to another place to cool down since the stage was exposed to the sun. After settling down on a table and some chairs, I decided to get my tablet and play but when I opened my bag, It was gone. It just got snatched! Then I remembered the kid earlier and started to get so furious about it. I immediately ran towards the stage but they weren’t there so I looked around. Luckily, I saw him still running off with my tablet. I screamed at him to stop and started chasing him. We ended up in their house. He went up with his brother and hid in their individual rooms. Their parents were there but didn’t care at all of what was happening in the house. They didn’t even care about me barging in the house, chasing the two.
I was still chasing them until they locked their rooms except the older brother’s door was a little bit busted up. There was a hole near the doorknob and it made it easier for me to break the door and pried it open. Inside was the brother, terrified. I didn’t know how I looked but the way he looked at me, I probably looked like a monster... that’s about to devour its prey. Because of my rage, I started to beat him up countless times until he couldn’t move. I didn’t even feel bad about it. His younger brother probably heard from next door and was silent as the night.
I went back out, leaving the motionless body in the room and tried to break the other door but it was too much for me and it wouldn’t even budge. The door was insanely tough. So I just waited in the other room, right in front of the older brother’s room, which was a bit far from the younger one’s room. A few hours of silence, I heard something click from the younger brother’s room. I peeked and saw him peeking, still holding my tablet. He didn’t see me, surprisingly and he closed the door. Then I heard a second click and that’s when I started to dash towards the door. He didn’t have enough time to react and lock his doors again so I was able to push the door open with all my might, sending him flying across the room.
It starts to get graphic here...
With the same blood-lust eyes, and menacing, grim smile, I said it again, “Give. Me. Back. My. Stuff.” He looked so terrified and clutched down to my tablet which made me even more furious. I grabbed his head and bashed it against the floor, and then back up to the wall. Blood started to drip from his head. He was crying and he finally let go of my tablet. But I wasn’t done yet. I pushed him towards the floor, sending his whole body on the floor. His face kissed the dusty and rough floor as he tried to face to the right. Cries filled the room as splinters caught his face and the floor was painted with an astounding red. I held his right hand while stepping on his right arm and in a split second, pulled his hand towards me, causing it to break. More cries echoed in the room as I smile maniacally and did the same thing to his left arm. Now both of his arms were broken. Surely, he can’t steal anything with this, right? I thought. Looking down, the tiny and fragile legs attract me. I thought again, if he wouldn’t be able to walk, he wouldn’t be able to steal anything, right? I started to step on one of his legs, with sinister eyes and still wearing the grim and menacing smile, looked at him and waited for his response. He cried out, begging to stop, apologizing and making promises that he’ll never do it again. He looked so pitiful. The look on his now bruised up and swollen face was enough for me. He had enough, I knew that. I knew that he learned his lesson and surely, this will scar him for the rest of his life. I knew that I was done with my job.
So I sighed, broke only one of his legs, took my tablet, and proceeded to go downstairs. That last scream that he had was very satisfying indeed. Indeed, it was.
Note: Names of my friends are changed hence the “[]” sign.
It all started during a class field trip. We were on a jeep with some of my close classmates while the rest of the class was in the school bus. We passed by a field and there were cows peacefully eating their grass.
I saw a cute little calf (like literally fluffy, they aren't even supposed to be fluffy). I don't know what went in my mind and joked to my friends about who's better at killing the calf. But little did I know that I triggered something in [Bayde] and he became serious all of a sudden. I didn't notice this until we reached our destination. It was an old building that was used to be a police headquarters and it was a three-story building and it was abandoned. There were rubbles and debris everywhere. The then blue color of the building faded and some parts of the walls had green to brown colors on it.
Surprisingly, there were rooms that had weapons in them with ammunition as well as armor and gear. I noticed [Bayde] gone from the rest of the class and I had a PRETTY GOOD idea where he was. After going to the place I assumed he was in, my guess was right. He was in one of the armed rooms and was preparing for something. I didn't want to disturb him because he might shoot me so I went to another room that has weapons and gears and quickly grabbed all the things that I needed to get.
Some of my classmates found out what I was doing so they teamed up with me and the rest were spectators. It turned into a game now with three of us teaming up and only [Bayde] to defend himself; and he had no idea that this was happening. My friends asked my what had gotten into him and I really had no idea myself, until I remembered the time when I joked about killing the calf. At that moment, I realized that he needed to be stopped. And so everything got so serious.
We split up and searched the vicinity for [Bayde]. I was sneaking back up to the room where he was in until I heard some gunshots. Someone got shot! "I hope they're alright," I thought to myself. I rushed to where the gunshots were but a figure grabbed me from the corner before I could reach the area.
"Shhhh!" It was my teammate.
"[Thysha]! What happened? And why are you unarmed?!" I asked, noticing her without her gun.
"I got shot."
"What?!"
"Yes, but I didn't die. It's weird, to be honest. When I opened my eyes, I'm here in this corner like nothing happened but I lost my gun... and one of my gears."
"... re-spawn."
"Excuse me?" She was so confused, but I wasn't. I understood very well.
"You got re-spawned," I repeated. "It seems that whenever your HP will hit zero, you don't die. Instead, you re-spawn," I explained.
"So that explains it..."
"Wait a minute!" I exclaimed. "When you get re-spawned, your weapon will be gone and one of your gears too as well! This is great! We just have to-"
"-I think he knows."
"What?"
"He knows. I wondered why he was bringing so many guns and rifles. It explains everything now..."
"Oh no... he's way ahead of us..."
"Yeah."
"I know!" another idea popped in my head. "Let's just guard the areas that has the weapons and gears and then someone has to keep on making his HP go down to zero." We both agreed that I would go and hunt for [Bayde] while [Thysha] looks for [Myaf] and tell her the details. I rushed to him and sneaked up to him. After his guard was down, I shot him like there's no tomorrow. His HP drained and he phased out and then disappeared. One of his rifles were dropped as well as his gear. I quickly grabbed the rifle and threw the gear away and then ran to go find him. As I was closing an intersection in the hallway, I heard gunshots. It was likely him. I turned right and saw him waiting for me. Our eyes met, and he raised his other rifle towards me.
"So you ready know, huh?" He said while I was trying to regain my balance from running and aimed my rifle towards him. Everything was on slow motion and the pressure was building up. His eyes looked like he had no soul. Like he was only built for shooting and killing.
"Oh shoot!" I screamed while pulling the trigger.
BANG!
"Head shot," he said as I fell down the cold floor. Things went dark really fast... and then I woke up.
Well I guess we won’t know if whether the fluffy calf was saved now...
It was summer, and my family and I went on a little trip to mother nature. We finally arrived in our destination: a little cabin beside a lake. It was surrounded by ginormous trees.
The sun was setting faster than expected so we decided to unpack and rest. I haven’t gotten inside the cabin and didn’t even see the interior because I decided to stay outside and enjoy the fresh air and the mosquito-free atmosphere.
“Just knock if you want to go inside,” my mom said before closing the cabin door.
“This is going to be a fun night…” my dad said in a serious tone. It was a bit creepy. He was looking at the forest while saying it, giving additional points for creep factor. He then left to go fishing. I was resting on the rocking chair outside the cabin and even decided to sleep there for the night.
After a while, everythig was quiet. And then there was fog. It was very thick and it keeps on pouring in… towards the cabin. It was nothing at first but then I remembered my dad and what he said earlier so I started to freak out. I went to the cabin and tried to open the door but it was locked. I knocked… no answer. It was dark inside too. Good thing the window is not blocked and had no curtains so I took a peek inside. To my surprise, it was empty. It seemed like it was uninhabited for years even though I clearly saw my mom unpack the stuffs inside the cabin. I kept on knocking, hoping that they’d just be somewhere underground from a hidden entrance. But as I feared, there was no answer. I refused to accept the fact that I’m all alone so I kept on knocking, screaming for my mom.
On the opposite side of the window where I was looking into, was another curtainless window, showing what’s on the other side of the cabin. It was a wide road. And there was a lady in white standing there. She then stared at me intently and started to walk towards the cabin. Still hoping to see my mom, I furiously knocked on the door but the more I look at the road, the more of those things appear… and they were drawing nearer.
I felt a tug on my shoulder. Terrified, I stopped knocking and closed my eyes, not knowing who it was.
And then I felt someone leaned towards my ear. Then it let out a ghastly moan.
This section is for the really short dreams that I get from my naps since I get naps very often now and less sleep *cries in corner* College really is a tough job and I guess I'm not doing well *cries even more in corner*
Hi guys! Sorry for not posting for a [REALLY] long time. It's because school's been taking a toll on me. I haven't had enough sleep so I rarely get dreams that has 'plot' and usually get the vague ones.
The Reaper’s Doll has been discontinued due to some personal problems (actually, it was discontinued years ago). We truly apologize for those who were waiting for updates. The tag and the section of The Reaper’s Doll in this blog will soon be removed.
We are hoping to create a new plot soon and hopefully, we can make one. Thank you so much for understanding.
I, together with my friends, volunteered to be test subjects by some random aliens that came to earth. They took the human form so that we wouldn’t be weirded out and that we would be able to have easier conversations. We were put inside a facility where we would reeive all our nessessities and essentials.
Our job there was to be human lab rats but in a nicer way. We were to do our regular daily tasks like getting excercise, socializing with other ‘subjects’ that we don’t know yet, and other basic things a human would do. The aliens were just there to observe us and record data based on what we do. We were typically like lab rats since we had our own rooms, we get fed, we were required to excercise while others were required to be laxed, and so on. We weren’t harmed though, that was why we volunteered.
One day, this young alien, who appeared as a teenage boy, about our age, started to hang out with us, especially with me. We became friends, and soon, the enevitable... I started to develop feelings for him. Though I know that he is not even human, I got attracted by how he acts and his kindness. He was way nicer than any human that I knew. He also knew about my feelings and felt the same but knew that we had to keep it for ourselves because of the contract.
The contract does not discourage relationships at all, even between different races, but what was hindering us was the ‘ceremony’ in the end when the experiment finishes.
As time went by, the days when the experiment ends grew closer. I got sadder and sadder every day because of it.
At last, the final day came. The experiment already ended and we were preparing for the ceremony. He was there with me, and I hugged him for the last time; I hugged him as tight as I could.
Now, all the subjects lined up for the last part of the contract: to erase our memories regarding the experiment. All of us knew this, of course, and all had our consents. The distance between me and the ceremonial circle grew shorter and my heart beats faster by each moment.
Finally, It was my turn. I stepped into the circle and prepared myself for the liquid to be poured unto me. I couldn’t contain my feelings by that time because I saw him staring at me with the same pained eyes as I had. I started sobbing, then weeping, and then crying. The aliens knew everything because they also recorded our every move. They had no objections with our relationship. It’s just new data for them. And so, I nod, signaling that I was ready, and then the liquid was poured on me. It was cold, but the feeling soon started to fade away, along with my memories of the days during the experiment.
I found myself talking with my friends as if nothing happened. We were outside this facility that seemed familiar, but I didn’t take much attention to it. There were a lot of people in lab gowns coming out from the building, packing their machines and equipments. They must be moving.
What bothered me was this boy. We’re talking with him like we already knew him for a long time, but to me, he was someone who I just saw for the first time. My friends were talking to him like he was someone they knew for a long time. Something was going through the back of my brain.
And then, everything clicked. Because I had such strong feelings for him, the memory fluid was not enough to erase what was tattooed on my heart. I cried again, wanting to kiss him, but I couldn’t because we would be found out and I didn’t want to let go of that memory again. So I just hugged him and whispered, “I remember, and I still love you.” He then smiled back at me and whispered, “I will be back.” And then he went off with the people in lab gowns, who I presume were the aliens that studied us.
