Careful... I heard this person fetishizes skinny people
I am gonna say this now for future reference, the biggest reason I am going towards having VOMC be an anime vs an indie animated western cartoon is because I did not want it to be direct competition or compared with Helluva Boss or Hazbin because people who have 0 knowledge on theology and demonololgy (and Demonolatry) will compare my series to Hellaverse for having similar tropes that you can see in just about any demon media or demon story. Hellaverse is not the first and will not be the last demon-focused series or franchise. Stop calling everything with demons in it helluva or hazbin, because Vivziepop did not invent demons nor do they belong to her.
I will stand by Stella forever idc. There's literally no proof she ever treated her daughter badly. We do have her not getting up when Stolas said that Via was calling them...but that's actually pretty normal for married couples to have a system of who tends to their child so that's really not that bad!?? Also she went WITH Stolas and Octavia to Loo Loo Land land and was happy
AND yes she did smile when Via was crying, but not only was her first instict to hug Via when she literally could've done nothing, but she was looking at the TV screen and focusing on Stolas dying, NOT that fact that her daughter was upset.
Also, also, she literally spends weekends with Octavia which even more proves that she does have lova for Via, and her calling an assassin on Stolas really isn't that bad when you consider that this is Hell and that the main characters are literally assassins even though the show ignores it AND that she was humiliated in front of ALL of her friends and family and was most likely shunned by some of them (She literally NEVER has another party after the divorce or is seen hanging out with ANYONE besides her creepy brother so I can really only assume the worst)
Also her being homophobic is literally the dumbest shit ever when she never ONCE brought up that Stolas slept with a man, only with an imp, and literally spends all of her time with her creepy (Allegedly) gay brother. People really reach to make Stella the worst person alive istg.
Uneducated "Satanists"/"Demonolators": Hellaverse has GREAT examples of demon depictions! They are so pro-demon and fit our religion!
Helluva Boss: Fetishizes and oversexualizes Stolas, Stereotypes Satanists as Cannibalistic Arrogant Murderers that know nothing about hell or demons, Stereotypes Stolas worshippers as doing human sacrifices and killing people to honor him, makes money off of edited demon sigils, makes popularly worshipped demons such as Mammon, Paimon, and Andrealphus toxic villains.
Me, A Person Serious about my Religion: Yeah, Right......
Stolen from another account who stole said picture, but this got me crying.
"I'm kinda terrified about the Homestuck pilot. Knowing that Viv and Spindlehorse are going to have zero creative involvement helps, but also Viv's company just unionized :/ And we've basically gotten confirmation that Viv reached out first since the Q&A video dropped. I had a theory that she was looking for IPs to grab and merchandise because she ran out of money to produce Helluva independently. And I guess I was right, because apparently she was just "asking around the office if there were any IPs that her employees liked". Obviously Hussie jumped on board immediately, he's always wanted to make a Homestuck cartoon. But it's clear to me that Spinlehorse reached out first, considering what was said in the video. Andrew could have pitched Homestuck to another studio, this isn't a "Only Viv could've made it" situation. I don't know what the circumstances behind the new Spindleroo studio are, but I assume that the studio was formed to put as much creative separation away from Viv and her team as possible."

Ah yes vivziepop “amazing” ace representation
Tumblr sexyman that looks like a bottle of ketchup and was forced to watch two people to have sex while tied up
a 17 year old girl who constantly villainized by the show and has heard her father talk sexual with his booty call in front of her
and an villain who is plus size and is considered unattractive and only character traits is grossly eating food and is money hungry
Wow viv I feel so represented by you sarc/
"tbh regardless of what you feel about Steven Universe i think we can all come and agree that the way charlie handles redemption basically just makes charlie the anthropomorphized personification of the parody comic where steven redeems adolf hitler. like charlie is so idiotic that she probably would end up redeeming a dictator just because they said sorry."

I wonder if Vivzie realized that a lot of her critics are former fans.
Like, yeah sure some of them are coasting off her name but again, she's a very public person. (Can she be counted as an influencer? Vivfluencer?!?) That's kinda the territory with being famous though. Like, even people 20+ years ago had paparazzi and tabloids. Don't flatter yourself, Viv. Your level of internet fame isn't special.
There are many reasons and to say it's mostly for monetary gain when most of the community doesn't make any money from it really shows what Viv thinks our priorities are, which I kinda get cuz she was scammed but still.
This community is made up of a lot of not just former fans, but former fans that are part of the target audience you claim to reach. A lot of us are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, plus-size, S.A. victims, neurodivergent, or some combination of two or more.
The majority of your critics don't even make money on their posts. I would even say a big chunk of us have this stuff called rent and we have to keep track of something called finances because... I don't know, not everyone is making six figures in show business?
If anything, a lot of us risk getting severely harassed with threats and doxxed from internet babies who are pissed that there are people that hate their fictional rapist owl or don't think Viv is that good a writer.
A lot of us are just sick and tired of your and the fandom's bullshit.
We're sick of you paying lip service to bipoc, lgbtqia+, S.A. victims, suicide survivors, and then getting mad that your humor which includes punchlines making fun of the latter two, gets criticised for including such, making you a hypocrite. A lot of us are fucking sick of your nasty attitude and your crybully tendency to vague post like you slick and then scream bigotry when you get called out.
People are calling you out because it's trendy/makes money and not because you're a myopic, hypocritical writer too stubborn to admit you fucked up. Yeah, keep telling yourself that, Vivienne.
"From my personal point of view, Viv did a terrible job with making Stolitz appealing. I was like 11 when i first watched the pilot in my language and was there since the start of the series. I never ever found myself drawn to Stolitz, i didn't fangirled during their moments, liked Stolas at all, nor i wished for them to be together, and i was 12-13. It was a time when i was first introduced to anime and was the classic cringe yaoi shipper, so if you can't even get a little girl full of hormones into your pairing then you seriousily fumbled so bad"

"I think a lot of people (especially some critics) need to come to terms with the fact that Vivziepop is a bad person. I wanted to believe that she's just a millennial who never grew out of her internet weird kid phase but time and time again she's represented herself as a genuinely deplorable human being. She glorifies rape, she fetishizes queer men, she appropriates people's cultures with zero genuine respect, and she does it all while pretending to have shows with a "diverse cast" when in actuality they're all the same carbon copies of character archetypes turned up to 11. Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are not good shows. Hazbin because of it's genuinely piss poor writing, and Helluva because of it's genuinely evil messaging. Vivziepop doesn't care about black people or hispanic people or queer men or lesbians or trans people or rape victims or domestic abuse victims or any of the identities she claims to care about. The only thing she wants is for people to like her. The only thing she wants is back pats and brownie points from her audience. And the sooner people realize that the sooner Vivziepop will fall into obscurity and I'll stop having Hazbin and Helluva fans telling me to kill myself for having a negative opinion about their goddess of Indie Animation."

"I’m very disappointed that Viv can't seem to accept any form of criticism. While her ideas and characters look good on paper, she really needs to start listening to feedback if she wants her shows to improve. All writers, creators, and artists can learn from her mistakes and understand how to handle criticism effectively to make their own projects better."

Vivziepop's characters be like:
So i found this on Pinterest, but don't know who the original artist is. If you know, please tell me so i can tag them. Thx bye.
i think moxxies mom has ONE or maybe two pieces of merch but, compared to allesio, (that's the shark guys canonical name btw, yes viv named a random male side character over a woman who held far more significance in one of the main characters life, yes i'm upset about it,) it's barely anything. he consistently gets merch because people ship him and crimson, and he was even featured in the pride merch from last year.
they picked a guy who has 1 line where he speaks, over fucking striker, who had a whole ass scene where he pinned the main character to the wall and seduced him into an offer to take out royals, like stolas, who treat them like shit for being imps. incredible.
at this point i view helluva boss and hazbin hotel as "the yaoi shipping shows", because that's all they're really substantial for, and that extends to the merch.
there are female characters who get a lot of merch, but that's either because;
• they're a main character (charlie)
• they're part of one the TWO sapphic relationships that were put out to pander to the sapphics, and therefore have to get merch to avoid the 'no-diversity' allegations (martha/mayberry)
• they're paired romantically with a male (millie)
• they're gooner bait, and we all know gooners have money to waste (loona)
special mention to beelzebub, who is the creator's favorite and therefore gets merchandising privileges.
the merch for both shows is oversaturated by male characters. it would be less frustrating if they were strictly main characters but so many minor male characters (wally, allesio, fucking CHAZ) have way more merch than the minor or even recurring female characters that have done plot-relevant things (doesn't chaz almost have more merch than octavia. isn't he consistently in more merch than her), that it's hard to look past and not argue that vivienne/spindlehorse/whoever is in charge of the merch gives a damn about the female characters.
note: keep in mind that the female characters i listed as having lots of merch are less than half of the collective cast of women (girl, regarding octavia) in the series. the number of male characters that don't have a substantial amount of merch is way lower.
Redesign Corner: Alastor Heartfelt
While I do like his design, I think he could’ve benefited from having darker colors to make him stand out more.
Made his outfit a bit more accurate to his time period.
Added yellow as an accent color to balance the red.
Gave him actual melanin.
Came to help with the hotel after seeing Charlie advertise it on television, offering his assistance and even advertise it on his radio show.
May have ulterior motives with the hotel and to get someone’s attention if it gains enough attention.
His powers being purely related to radio, no tentacles.
As he helps Charlie run the hotel, he starts seeing what the Princess of Hell is really capable of and how she makes him feel like he’s more than a monster.
Doesn’t hate modern technology as much, more so confused on how it works and prefers the old fashioned way of handling things.
Personal Life
Always wanted to be a radio show host when he was alive, but due to the harsh racism of his time period it only stayed a dream.
As a way to let out his frustration, he became a serial killer. He only targeted people who had committed crimes themselves or who threatened women and children. Died by a bullet to the head after being mistaken for a deer while burying a body.
Loves his mother and the jambalaya she would make, hopes she'll forgive him one day.
Met Vox when he was a new face in Hell and they became friends, rising up to be Overlords strong enough to rule the city together... but Vox mysteriously disappeared and joined the Vees, acting like they were never friends at all.
Doesn't understand anything lgbt related things and drag, but is supportive of his friends orientations and Angel crossdressing.
Suffers a high metabolism of always feeling hungry with a strong craving for anything meat related.
"This may be a stretch, but Vivziepop reminds me almost eerily of JK Rowling. Their franchises both take extremely basic concepts (hell AU and magic school) and draw in people with something extremely in-your-face (helluvaverses being adult; admittedly funny writing from Rowling). Both have characters whose lack of character (Vaggie, Charlie, etc; almost all of Rowling's characters?) are covered up by the aforementioned "in-your-face" aspect. Both only bring certain gimmicks into play when convenient (demon forms, among other things; magical categorization). Both creators throw tantrums on Twitter (in Vivzie's case, Bluesky). And, of course, both have deranged fandoms that defend the franchises and/or creators way too much."
