Watching this scene for the thousandth time, I realized that Zeno gives a little laugh, HE SMILES…

I can perfectly picture Zeno, letting himself inhale Grace's scent for just one more second, letting his hands slide across the surface she touched... I'm already sick for them.

I have to confess that it surprises me that there are so few Zenace fanfics. Because they have such a good couple dynamic that I swore many would share the same opinion.

I read and reread MANY times the 8 fanfics that are on AO3 to feed my interest. And I thought about finally starting to write my own Zenace fanfic, but I'm very unsure if it would be more interesting if it were in the original universe or in an AU.

If they're seated beside one another, Zeno’s arm will rest along the back of her chair, his fingers occasionally brushing lightly against her shoulder.

His hand settling lightly against the side of her thigh, thumb moving in small, absent circles against the fabric of her clothing.

A hand on her back, fingers lightly resting against her arm to steady her when she stumbles, the faint pressure of his knee against hers if they are seated beside each other. None of it appears deliberate, yet the pattern becomes unmistakable once Grace begins paying attention.
