Nature Inspired Macabre and Gothic Jewelry by Joanna Szkiela

Joanna Szkiela from Redsofa creates original jewelry inspired by macabre fairytales. The delicate and feminine jewelry have a unique cryptic look, thanks to their raw finish. Focused mainly on metalwork with a few rough stones nestled in a few of the pieces, the grim trinkets invoke memories of ancient times and rituals.

Szkiela’s unrefined jewelry with its signature rugged edges and rough textures are fashioned from a murkier emotion. Gothic and pagan, the rings and earrings have elements such as barbed wires, thorns, unpolished stones and undecipherable symbols which still can be worn as delicate and casual accessories.
