make fanmixes based on past episodes or fanfics (so many good puckentine fanfics out there now you could come up with such varied mixes!!!!!)

post headcanons

make fanart based on fanfics (technically the fanfics are our only way to get new puckentine stuff now so why not draw inspiration from them!! draw lots of inspiration from them!!!)

make manips or fake gifsets based on fanfics (come on you guys we've seen so many other fandoms do this we can totally pull it off given the right amount of dedication and scene-searching)

post fic prompts!!!!

make videos

write fics based on seemingly insignificant puckentine moments in the newer episodes (there's a lot of them and you've seen them pointed out many times before, so why not write oneshots or even multichapters based only on that slight touching of hands or prolonged eye contact or giggles or whatever)

aight guys i know these are basic and obvious fandomy things to do, but with the amount of negativity i've been seeing in the tag (it used to be such a bright and cheerful and fluffy place, what happened?) i thought i'd remind you of the things we used to do and the things we still can do!

i know this probably won't last too long, we'll probably run out of fluff and angst to think up and scenes to gif and manips to make after some time, but wouldn't it be better for the tag to die out the way it used to live? with lots and lots of posts of our favorite ship and how much we love them and want them to be together as opposed to text posts saying goodbyes and crying emoticons and all that?

some of us have moved on way early because of the gradual lack of puckentine in the show lately, i know that, but what about the few of us that still miss the ship sometimes and come across some cheesy love song once in a while and think "damn, this would be perfect for puckentine"? after all, isn't that how this tag and this puckentier deal came to be - from a shy number of only 4 or 5 bloggers constantly posting in the puckentine tag - until it attracted newer shippers?

i don't know, you guys. i just think it'd be nice for us if in the future, when this puckentine thing is over with and we've outgrown it, and we type puckentine into the tumblr search box just for the heck of it, and the last posts you see are still your and your friends posts freaking out over tiny moments and gifsets, and you remember the positivity this ship and this fandom gave you instead of mourning its premature cancellation. i don't know, i just think that'd be nice.

Yeah but I wish they would acknowledge it in the scripts or something, I mean since the "not a hugger" thing was becoming such a catchphrase in the earlier episodes wouldn't it be nice to acknowledge now that she is a hugger after all? Because like it shows they're getting to know each other more and more and they're getting closer and closer and Sam's no longer putting up a wall and just ugh I wish they would get the show off nickjr and get it on teennick because these emotions are not for kids ughhhhh

I think that’s how any real relationship between them would have to go because they’re both pretty damaged and there’s going to be a lot of obstacles for them to get over. So there’s still hope but they have to work on themselves to get there.

Ugh I wish they'd turn up the drama more even though yayday was already wayyy drama heavy for me hahaha maybe that's why I'm so drawn to Puckentine fics that are angsty and dark.

So I just finished yay day and man was that a perfect episode after the tuna jump fiasco. I feel like everyone else has covered all the awesome puckentine moments so I don’t really need to. BUT OH MY GOD SAMS FACE WHEN “CROSS MY BRA”! I usually don’t agree with facial reactions, but this one was a little too perfect. I usually don’t get that emotionally invested kids shows but I would be lying if I said I didn’t get a little misty eyed when Sam cried. Oh the meatball tree. “I’m glad we’re friends.” Do i need to say more?

On to another subject that is still worrying my greatly. Is Sam and Cat getting cancelled after this 40 episode run? This episode came out on a Monday and the next episode is a blooper episode. That really sounds like they are trying to pump out episodes quickly to me. These are not very good signs for a show people and I think we all know that. I need some solid evidence that S&C isn’t getting cancelled. And while I can’t find any that it is getting cancelled I also can’t find any that it won’t. I know it’s paradoxical and it sounds stupid but it still worries me. I guess only time will tell. I’m gonna kill myself over this.

I was worried about this too mostly because most spinoffs I know of are really short-lived, at most we can hope for a second season but sadly it also won't be that surprising to me if we end up with just this one.

#i know the ratings for the one hour special were high but the show can't keep riding on specials #i feel like they should bring in more people their age???? like teenagers????#can't they have annoying neighbors #like remember in toddlerclimbing with the rival babysitters? i feel like that could be a great thing for them since babysitting is such a ma #major part of the premise #they need more people their age to interact with #honestly it would improve the writing and the jokes and make it less slapstick at time #times*****#i really love this show and this ship but the writing (aside from the dirty jokes slipped in once in a while) is just not as good as in vict #victorious or in icarly #also here's a suggestion mOVE IT TO TEENNICK #THIS IS NOT A KIDS SHOW OMG

It’s so much worse that they’ve stopped hugging after all the drama they’ve been through recently because it kind of signifies deeper issues in their relationship that they don’t feel as close as the did before!

I kinda wished and hoped for a transition in Sam's "not a hugger" thing, like maybe in later episodes Cat hugs her and she doesn't say "Not a hugger" anymore and then once in a while she hugs back but she remembers she's not supposed to be a hugger so she holds back (I mean can you imagine her face) and then maybe in later episodes (or later seasons if we do get them) she's the one who initiates the hugs and Cat teases her about not being a non-hugger anymore or something.

I know in some episodes we see glimpses of Sam initiating stuff but I really wish they'd be written in once in a while and more acknowledged.
