A random headcanon: Way back when I actually played this game we decided that RE5 was just like, a DnD campaign for Helena and Hunnigan w/ Hunnigan playing as Sheva which is why she’s smart and resourceful and not... punching rocks... General Opinion over said character: RE5 was a bad game and frankly? She deserved better than this.

🌟 tell us FACTS about your WRITING 🌟

I have probably three versions of a fic before I decide which one to post. It’s usually a Frankenstein of the three with the scenes I think are best spliced together.

I often listen to one song on repeat while writing because it provides stimulation with the least amount of distraction. If I don’t have to search for a new song then I can just concentrate on writing. It can also work as sonic torture if I’m forcing myself to meet a deadline.

I have no formal writing education, so I still fuck up on grammar.

I still consider the first chapter of As Above, So Below to be some of my best writing ever.

I like starting scenes on dialogue because it’s a good way of doing In Media Res with immediate sense of character and conflict. It’s kind of like a mystery for the reader to dig in and find the context.
