One thing that seems striking to me and is always glossed over is the way Øystein phrased the news of Pelle’s death when he talked to Jan Axel on the phone: “Pelle’s gone home”. 

“Home” implies comfort, warmth and safety, and one could interpret his words as a wish for Pelle, much like when people say that someone is "in a better place now".

I find it really weird that Jørn called Øystein "his" guitarist when he easily could have said "our" in the PFM documentary. It's a very small detail to focus on, of course, but he also did it when he referred to Metalion as a "friend of mine".

I really wish people would stop throwing Mayhem and it's importance to the history of black metal under the bus just because they're popular now whilst simultaneously glazing Midzum which has like 1 good song in it's entire discography. Like my brother in christ Mayhem popularized most of the gay ass aesthetic and musical traits you dweebs like about black metal so much nowadays... Varg on the other hand killed some twink with multitudes more talent than he ever had - and I am of the genuine belief that he is only remembered because of that.

(post-euronymous mayhem does not count btw, necrobutcher is a joke)
