this party was the perfect chance for gabe to see riley. ever since the pembroke family went on lockdown from talking to his family, it was harder to communicate with her. making his way to the backyard, he smiles at the sight of riley. “damn, you look beautiful, can i get your number.” he teases as he walks towards her. 

when she heard his voice she turned around and smile. “ew you’re so lame.” she said to him all the while pulling him in to her. she hugged him tightly. “i missed you.” she said inhaling his scent. forget what her dad said. she knows she loves gabe with everything in her and then some. just thinking about it and this situation brought tears to her eyes and she squeezes him tighter.
