Thrilled to announce that Manchester ZINE CLUB will be making it's long-overdue return next week, this time to the beautiful new alt queer venue VADA VADA.

Entry is free and all are welcome - whether you're a experienced zine maker or you want some help making your first ever one. Drop in anytime between 7-9pm on Wednesday June 10th. The venue serves both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, and serves food in case you wanna eat your tea while you read some zines from our pop-up library @salfordzinelib

FIRST ZINE OF 2026! ♡ These are my goals as a zinester this year, starting in February since December was so rough for me I needed January to recover 😅

I included boxes for me to check off goals as I complete them! Going into this with a gentle mix of determination and grace for myself- I want these goals to inspire and motivate me, not scare me out of doing anything at all.

I’m nervous but excited to really dive in with this zine account I made this year! 🖤

Pen Fight is a queer feminist zine distro based in the UK. I am happy to say it now have a totally revamped website after a month of me spending many hours doing lots of boring things on it to make it look and work much better.

I stock nearly 200 zines including lots of sliding-scale titles.

Please share & check it out - after a month of no income to work on this it could really do with a boost!

Photos from back when Pen Fight actually had a physical shop. It was the year I actually lost money running this, but it was fun to curate a little space, run lots of events/workshops and host some really good book talks. I also never really did get any decent pictures of it back then.

LGBT Zines - Stonewall Riots + Bisexual Manifesto, adapted and distributed as printable zines by afternoon_comet

Content: The "Stonewall Riots" zine is rated G. The "Bisexual Manifesto" zine is rated PG.

Stonewall Riots: "The Stonewall Riots were a huge part of LGBT history. Learn about it in a short zine!"

Bisexual Manifesto/coloring book: The bisexual manifesto was published in 1990 in response to discrimination against bisexual people. 

To feature this creation by afternoon_comet, I include it in the project Curated Collections About LGBTQIA. I'm doing this series of Tumblr posts reviewing and featuring other people's creations with links to where you can see them on itch.io to celebrate and draw attention to the cool stuff that folks make.

A new zine for members of my ko-fi: Get To Know Your Friends, a printable zine designed for you to print many copies of, and share with your friends for them to fill in and return to you so you can get to know them better.

Tangible things that otherwise might take a while to pick up - or might be hard to remember (eg allergies, emergency contact info, access needs, gift preferences, how you want to deal with conflict, favourite foods, hated foods, what skills you have to share or need etc). Things that will hopefully help you be a better friend to them & bring your connections closer together.
