Here's the monster! I decided I'm going to put buttons on my dress and sew elastic bands through the upper rings so I can button it on and take it off without any pins. And then I put my favorites of the devotional charms on it.

I think I have about 25 charms made to gift out. I'd like to get a couple more Secondo done, but I'm running out of time. I'm going to wrap them so they are random. If I run out and need an extra, I can unclip one of these since they're on clasp so I can swap them around. (Except Tobias and Roky. That one's mine!) I'm also getting used to the idea that I'll just rattle when I walk lol

Weird shit going on in the lab...

I got some new acrylic in and today grabbed a fresh sheet for a project. Kinda thought it was odd that the backing paper didn't look the same, but shrugged and kept truckin'.

In my last order apparently there was a high gloss/matte backed sheet. I don't remember ordering it! All the other sheets are what I normally use. Anyway, I didn't figure out what was going on until this piece was fully cut and it is VERY ODD. The matte side is almost like a secret message -- everything is there but you can't really see it except at an oblique angle. (It also feels like a poker chip which I sort of like?) The super high gloss side is weird too -- it's too mirror slick, so it loses the midtones. Perp looks all film noir! lol

Luckily I can redo this in my regular material and the rest of this sheet can maybe work for a different project.

When I see new people getting into Ghost, they always ask about the lore but babes, I'm going to have to tell you something. 5% of the lore you see is canon, 10% is shit Special/Tobias said in interviews - most likely without thinking and the other 85% is from the fandom - whether from fanfictions, theories, art etc. Ghost is basically a sandbox, we're just given very limited information and allowed to run wild with the characters so have fun with it and try not to worry about what is and isn't canon too much.

("alpha" bracelets are made differently from "normal" ones - I knew logically how to follow the patterns but various details eluded me until today when I finally decided I was going to make sense of it so that I could make a decent grucifix bracelet. sadly I probably don't have enough black thread to make the whole bracelet though, so this will probably be a keyring or something. also yea I know it's kinda lumpy but it's literally my first time so sh)

edit: WAIT what if i used different background colours for each grucifix??? i was already gonna do different pale colours for the grucifixes, so if i just don't have enough black i could use other dark colours for the background...
