What's it all about? [ Shouma ]
Was something wrong..? Did something happen to her at all while he hadnât been with her? Mind you, he was well unaware of the fact that this wasnât their colorful home at all (even though he shouldâve grasped that from his surroundings). She made it seem like she hadnât seen him for days - and he was sure he hadnât ever left her alone for too long. Heâd detest fate a little less if it was the reason why he was here with her now, though.
âHimariâ..?â
Although slightly dazed by her odd reaction, he gathered his thoughts before wrapping his arms around her waist and squeezing as hard as he could - of course, heâd make sure to still be gentle with Himari. It was so reassuring to know she was still here in his arms; her warmth only further emphasizing that fact. If he had the choice, heâd probably choose to stay like that much longer.
âIt counts,â he laughed. âIt always counts, Himari.â
Bless her innocence. Yesâ that wasnât what he meant when he tried to explain the concept to her, but, it wouldnât be too bad if she thought of it like that. The last thing he would need was for her to follow in Kanbaâs footsteps - get rid of that thought, Shouma! It wonât ever come to that!
He offered her a smile and his hand, tilting his head in the slightest. If it was Valentineâs Day, there was chocolate involved - and the very least he could do was teach her how to properly make them if she ever wanted to later on.
âWe can make chocolates together too, if youâd like!â
So as long as she had and loved her brother then it counted, that was a good thing to hear since she didn't really know anyone else that she could ask to be her Valentine here. Well, she could ask random people..but that probably wouldn't have worked out well to say the least and she didn't want to aggravate anyone either by being such a bother.
She was glad that Shouma wasn't anything like Kanba but that didn't mean that she loved Kanba any less even though it did slightly irritate her that he had so many girlfriends only to break up with them soon after. But then again..it was a common thing and she had grown used to it. Plus, he never seemed to put them before her.Â
At his suggestion of chocolates her eyes immediately lit up at the thought. Making chocolate with him for Valentine's day? That sounded like a plan.
" Chocolates? Really? Of course Sho-kun! I'd love to make chocolates with you. "
god seriously i apologize to anyone who rps with me because I am just a lazy fuck. anyway getting to replies.
declare war on --
[ Tei squeaked in surprise as her shirt was pulled back over her head, red hues gazing back at the other girl curiously. Wait. A girl. There was a pause before she shook her head gently, offering Himari a smile instead of just staring at her blankly. There was no need to get upset.. Himari wasnât fawning over Len like some fool. So she was safe.Â
For now. ]
â A-ah! M-miss thereâs no need for you to do that, Iâll get you whatever you want just donât hand over your clothes like that! Do you know how many perverts might be stalking around? â
[ The android giggled softly. Perverts didnât bother her, really⌠Probably because she was most likely to be among those labeled as perverts for obvious reasons that we will not explore in front of sweet, innocent Himari.
And so sheâll nod gently, showing she would accept Himariâs offer. ]Â
"Alright! Thank you very much! We must bake together, yes? And I will find a way to repay you for being so kind!"Â
After having paid for everything that Tei had needed, Himari gave a sigh in relief that she hadn't had to use her clothing for payment to the stall keeper. Girls shouldn't have to do that for anything!Â
Himari was just about to turn on her heel having accomplished what she had wanted to do in the first place which was ' be the hero ' and save the girl but now the girl began to speak to her.
" Alright! Thank you very much! We must bake together, yes? And I will find a way to repay you for being so kind! "
...Bake a cake together? Well Himari wasn't too sure that she could do that. She might burn herself or other people while trying and she didn't want to take the chance, but Tei seemed like a nice person so with some hesitation Himari nodded, accepting her offer of baking a cake.Â
What had she gotten herself into..
" ..Uhm..Sure! We can bake a cake! And it's nice to meet you. I-I'm Himari. Â Â "
What's it all about? [ Daisuke ]
Daisuke saw the little orange-haired girl, and heard the question she had made.
Honestly, he was a bit surprised- usually, girls were all about knowing and swooning over Valentineâs Day!
But no matter, that was something rather easy to explain.
All the time he had spent trying to get Risa to be his valentine on the first middle school year had given him a little strenght on the subect.
âHm, you donât know about Valentineâs Day?â
âItâs a holiday in which people celebrate love.â
She tilted her head to the side, love? What kind of love? Was it friendly love? Or..the..LOVE LOVEÂ kind of love. This was such a confusing Holiday and she didn't think she'd understand it at this point, it was too complicated. She didn't have anyone that she really liked or..someone that she considered special, besides Kanba and Shouma of course.
Maybe she would just end up asking a random person to be her Valentine, it wouldn't hurt right? There was no harm in that. Especially since she didn't want to look since once the day actually came.
" ...I don't get this. Are you supposed to love the person in a certain type of way? "
What's it all about? [ Shu ]
Shu tilted his head at the question. Yes, he knew what Valentines Day was, but he never really payed attention to it before since he was too busy just getting by without a hitch back that. But hearing that question made him actually think about it for some reason. But it wouldnât hurt to give an answer now would it?
âWell⌠itâs sort of like⌠hmâŚâ
Give him a minute. Heâll think of something.
âKind of like a holiday celebrating love, or something like that. Itâs apparently a special day if you have someone special to spend it with.â
A Holiday fixated on celebrating love for one another? Well wasn't everyday supposed to be like that? She showed Kanba and Shouma that she loved them both all the time so why was it on a certain day that it was really important? ...Didn't make much sense to her.
As for spending it with someone special, well she didn't have anyone special besides Kanba and Shouma. No one had ever asked either, so she was lost. Was she supposed to ask...?
" Someone special? Wait you mean like..well do you mean like...boyfriend and girlfriend..kind of special? "
What's it all about? [ Shouma ]
He understood that this holiday was meant to be enjoyable, and it was meant to be happy. He tried his hardest to make sure the day was always like that, too. His skills were limited, though. There was only so much he could do for his dear sister.
Shouma would have to spoil Valentineâs Day (again) for Himari. When it came to things like this, itâd be easy to compare him to a protective father - no man would ever lay his hands on his sisterâs pure heart, and heâd make sure of it! He really had the best intention in the end, but he couldnât keep her in the dark about things either.
He wanted her to be happy, though. He wouldnât be able to âgive her awayâ freely - but he couldnât just keep everything from her. She deserved to be able to experience anything and everything despite her condition.
âAhâ Himari.. Well, um..â He scratched his cheek. âItâs a day where you tell someone you love them a lot - yeah, sorta like thatââ he laughed a little bit - it seemed forced, as if to cover up little awkward bits. He wasnât very knowledgeable about it all either - if anything, he probably knew less than Himari did. He wasnât like Kanba - he didnât know what it was like to sway the hearts of every female you walked past, and he didnât really know what love in âthatâ sense really was.
Though.. maybe this would be different. Maybe heâd let her find a proper Valentine this year.
She tilted her head, waiting for her brother's response. ...Wait. ....
" S-sho-kun? "
Her eyes widened as her hands went up to cover her mouth from shock. She hadn't expected to see him let alone that he would be the one to explain Valentines Day to her. Disregarding all that he had said she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him close into a tight embrace.Â
" Sho-kun! "
Valentines day was the last thing on her mind now that she knew that her brother was here with her. She nuzzled him, still tight with the seemingly never ending hug. She smiled, she really was happy now. Having Shouma here made all the difference for her. It would be a better Valentines Day now that she had family!Â
Well now that the family reunion moment was over she let go of him, only to go back to the previous topic of Valentines Day. She could tell that he was trying to search for the right words as he spoke, it was pretty hard considering that he wasn't like Kanba who had a Valentine every year from all of his past girlfriend or just random girls that he liked or met.Â
" Oh, so you have to tell someone that you love them? Well I love you and Kan-kun..does that count? "
sticks and stones [ open ]
Tsuna sighed, used to being babied. It wasnât that he hated it, actually. He liked that people cared enough to help, but he eventually had to stand on his own strength, without anyone having to protect him, right?Â
The girl pressed her palm against his forehead, and Tsuna winced slightly. He was pretty hardheaded, and though it did feel a little sore, he was more or less alright.Â
âA-ah,â he stuttered, smiling a little sheepishly. âIâm Tsuna Sawada. And no need for the ice pack. B-but, thank you.âÂ
She nodded, shooting him another smile as she pulled her hand away, letting it fall back down to her side. It didn't seem like he was okay, he surely had some type of throbbing pain in his head but it couldn't be helped. He'd be fine..since he was a boy. She forgot that boys were able to cope with pain more than most girls could.Â
" Tsuna? That's a nice name. It reminds me of tuna! "
Himari shouldn't have pointed that out, it did come out sounding a little rude but she hoped that he wouldn't take it the wrong way, she did honestly like his name. It just sounded like the type of fish.Â
" Anyway, what brings you to Polis, did you need to do some shopping? "Â
[Where? ; Open]
They werenâtâŚhere? He didnât understand why they wouldnât be. They were always with him.. His dejected feelings came across obviously in his face. He was always honest, so his face was always honest too.Â
âThe sheeps and bunnies are helpful! They say âWelcome home.â to you and they take you to your room and even help you clean. They are very nice! You wonât be sad when you see them.â He was still upset about Gareki and Karoku not being here, but he figured when he got to his Circus friends that theyâd help. Besides, they had to keep Gareki because the cops wanted him.
âO-oh! Iâm Nai.â He didnât give a last name, because he simply didnât have one. The only thing heâd ever been called was Nai. Karoku gave him that name, Karoku was his favorite. He really hoped him and Gareki would come and theyâd be happy together. âWhat about you?âÂ
Sheep? She still didn't understand it really. He talked about sheep as if they were really important, of course they were cute animals but that was about all she could think of. Did he know any magical sheep? She wouldn't doubt that he did.Â
He thought that she was sad..she wasn't sad just confused. But seeing as how he was trying to cheer her up she gave a small smile before nodding, placing her hand on his shoulder.Â
" Nai? That's a really nice name! My name's Himari. "
Strangely enough she had come to take a liking to this boy. They had become like friends pretty quickly, or at least that's what she thought and she hoped that he thought the same way.
" Hey Nai? Until you find your friends, I'll take care of you. Okay? "
[Where? ; Open]
When she tilted her head, so did Nai. He gave her a questioning look. Was she like Nai? Maybe she didnât understand hard things either! He smiled. Maybe this time he wouldnât get yelled at for not getting big words. Gareki yelled at him a lot for that. Though he tried to understand as best he could, he really did.Â
He looked worried when she sighed, was she angry? Nai didnât know how to cheer her up. Maybe she was just tired, did she need a nap? Oh! Sheâll help. Nai bounced a bit.Â
âWell, where are Gareki and Karoku?â That was a simple way to get an answer, right? âGareki has glasses and yells, Karoku is really kind!â That was the best he could describe them.Â
Nai was used to looking up to people, he was usually shorter than everyone he was around. Oh, except the lambs and bunnies! Maybe Nai could tell her about them to cheer him up.Â
âAh, when we find my friends Iâll show you the sheeps and bunnies!â Nai smiled. The lambs and bunnies always cheered him up, they always helped him out when he needed something.Â
By how he had described them to her she hadn't the faintest clue as to who they were still. She doubted they were here. She would've seen them by now or maybe came across them. Either that..or the other who knows. She couldn't give a straight answer to his question as to where his friends were because she honestly didn't know.
" I don't think your friends are here yet, maybe they'll be here soon though. "
She hated t not be able to help him but there was nothing that she could really do besides wait with him until they arrived, hopefully it would be soon. ...Sheeps and bunnies? Animals right? She blinked, not quite sure what he was getting at with showing her sheeps and bunnies. The things that he was saying to her were weird. She didn't understand him, he was even more naive than she herself was but maybe that was how he was raised.
" Sheeps and bunnies? Uhh well you're not making any sense -- I never got your name either, what is it? "

Nai jumped, startled to hear someone call out to him. He turned to look at the voice. It was a girl who looked his age (Nai didnât even know his age). She was a little taller than him, though. She had pretty hair, Nai thought.
âA-ah. Hello!â Nai bowed, he learned from his friendâs in Circus that he had to be nice to people he meets. Not like Nai knew how to be mean, but he did learn how to be polite!
âIâm lost. Karoku and Gareki arenât here.â He didnât know how to explain things well either, he just figured sheâd understand. He wondered if she was part of Circus, or the police. She didnât look like the bad people though.
He cheerfully smiled at her. âWill you help?âÂ
She tilted her head to the side. ..Help? Well she wasn't entirely what he needed help with in the first place. All she knew was that she heard him call and she came to see what was wrong. Strange. Karoku and Gareki? Never heard of them. Maybe they were around here somewhere, but she hadn't seen them.
She sighed, rubbing the back of her head. Well the least she could do was try to help this boy out. It couldn't hurt and maybe along the way somewhere they'd become good friends in the end. He didn't seem evil, but..she wouldn't be surprised if it was just an act. The fact that he bowed to her though showed that he knew some type of politeness.Â
" I'll help you of course, but with what? "Â
She had to look down at him, only by an inch or so though. It was still awkward..she wasn't used to be taller than a boy little kids, sure but..he looked a bit older than her. Maybe his growth spurt hadn't kicked in. It couldn't be helped though.
" I don't even understand what Valentines Day is. "
[Where? ; Open]
Nai awoke and looked around. Where was he? He didnât understand. Where were his friends?
âGareki? Karoku?â He called out the first two names he could think of. Neither of them were there. Nai began to panic, where were his friends from Circus? He began to think back at the time when Karoku was no longer in the forest with him. Was it like that again?Â
He didnât want that, he had found many people he liked to be around. He had fun most of the time. So he was alone again? He didnât like that feeling, but he wouldnât give up! He found his friends before, heâd just have to ask around like last time and find people to help him!Â
âŚFirst he had to find people. Like last time, he started to walk around wandering. This place was weird, heâd never seen it before. Granted he had never seen the world he used to live in until after Karoku had disappeared. So he had to deal with this like then! Itâd work out in the end.. right?Â
He called out to anyone who would here.
âHelp! Help!â Though he wasnât in danger - he might be, with this new world - he did need help.
â Help! Help! â
The sound of someone calling out soon reached her ears. Another person? Great! Another friend. She clapped her hands together before starting off in the direction wence the voice came from. She soon came across a boy with snow white hair.
She tilted her head, he looked..peculiar. She had never seen someone with hair like that and..she thought it was weird. But it couldn't be helped.
" ...Hello..Did you need help with something? I heard you call.. "
She furrowed her eyebrows down as she looked at him, she hoped that he wasn't hurt or anything but if so it was nothing that she couldn't fix.
What's it all about? [ Open ]
Valentines Day. Himari had never honestly thought that much of the Holiday. She always had Kan-kun and Sho-kun to be her Valentines and no one else. Well, the only reason why she didn't have anyone else was because she didn't attend school due to her sickness. If only she could go, then she would have gotten a proper Valentine. It kind of sucked to have your brothers be your Valentines every year after the other and most of the time it was only Sho-kun considering Kanba and all of his girlfriends.
Well. That was okay though. She didn't even really know what this was all about anyway! She just knew that girls were supposed to get candy when this day came. And though she didn't care much for sweets, she enjoyed what she got from her brothers anyway.Â
Still! The question lingered in her mind. What was Valentines Day really all about? And would she be able to get one this year?Â
" Can someone explain to me what Valentines Day is about..? "
the end of winterâ
was it just her or was the world⌠spinning? it must have been just her, since the girl with the particular hair color seemed to notice nothing out of place. takiko`s chest raised as she inhaled deeply, taking  a deep breath for both herself and himari`s sake. as a response to her latter questions, the maiden raised her hand and shook it from side to side.
âit`s⌠alright. i`ll be fine,â takiko responded finally, after her heart had calmed down to an easy tempo. âthank you for the information. my name is takikoâŚâ
was this girl japanese? her name sounded like it was of japanese descent, but she had the looks of a foreigner. perhaps takiko had been sucked into a world within a world, a version of text where the setting took after ancient japanâŚ.
now she was just being ridiculous.
shaking her head, the young maiden bit her lip. it was a better time than ever to ask exactly where she was.
âwould you happen to know which way hokkan is? i was in the middle of speaking to emperor temudan.â
Himari gave a nod of her head, accepting that the woman didn't need anything for the moment. It still troubled her though, she hoped that she would be able to get along here when Himari wasn't around. She seemed pretty lost as of now.
" Oh it's no problem really! "
..Hokkan? What in the world was this woman talking about? This was Arcadios! There wasn't a place called Hokkan anywhere here, or at least not that she knew of presently, but she highly doubted that there was such a place to begin with.Â
She blinked, not quite knowing how to answer the question. She could, but it would be rather blunt. ..But being blunt was better than being untruthful.
" Hokkan? There's no place like that around here. I don't think you'll get to where you want to go to for quite some time Takiko.. "
Himari sighed, closing her eyes. As much as Takiko wanted to speak to this Emperor she would have to wait, sadly.Â
the end of winterâ
if takiko heard the girl approach her, she made no physical indications that she did. soon, she felt the pressure of a hand on her shoulder, sending a wave of surprise through her body. takiko turned without knowing what she should expect to see; her frantic mind had tried to calm herself down with the logical answer. her father. maybe it was him. maybe, without her being aware of it, she`d been taken out of the universe of the four gods and returned home.
instead, she saw a young girl barely in her teens greeting her with the warmest of smiles. the girl`s lips moved in what takiko assumed as speech, but nothing had registered until a few moments later. the priestess, looking dumbfounded, blushed as she responded with a question of her own.
âi`m sorryâwhat did you say? this is⌠arcadios?â
was that a place anywhere in the universe of the four gods? regretfully takiko herself had only traveled around hokkan and the konan empire, so the possiblity wasn`t completely ruled out. she knew for certain, however, that home was not the place she`d been spirited away to.
Had she not been paying attention? Well Himari had expected that. The woman appeared to be in a little bit too much shock as to where she was. Not that, that was a bad thing. It was common for people here. She gave a sigh as she started once again.
" Yep! Arcadios. I'm Himari. What's your name? "
She carefully retracted her hand back from the woman to give her the space that she probably needed. She tilted her head to the side as it took the woman many moments to answer in return. Was she okay? Himari hoped so.
" Do you need anything? Perhaps water? Or..maybe some fruit? To calm yourself down that is. I can get you some. "
