Okay right away I’m seeing with fresh eyes just how elaborate and expensive the artwork for Across the Void is. I’ve already seen four backgrounds that never appear again throughout the app and I’ve barely made it through chapter one.

Good god. This is only reaffirming my theory that the unfortunate failure of Across the Void was what caused the Bad Timeline and slow descent of the app.

the sprites are also very detailed and unique. It also was the first to split into volumes like witness which i think catalyzed the Bad Timeline.
