I like how the top (justified) complaint about PlayChoices is that all their stories are AI slop now, so people are moving to Candlelight Games' Spellfyre app. Completely ignoring that everything about Spellfyre art is made with AI. Backgrounds, character art, animations all are so painfully obviously AI generated. Not to mention the diabolical scenes model where you play one minute scenes with keys and spend more time watching ads than playing the actual story. This... Isn't it.
"I've been saying it in my dreams for weeks" yep I fear trading down to 0 coins was worth it
it's painfully obvious that the writers come from choices from the way they write the mc. there's a few things i wish were done differently but my no 1 complaint is the mc having the cardboard personality
other are relationships and li interactions lacking depth so also a very telltale sign of the authors coming from pb
and you know. the ai. and cost of everything with very little opportunities to earn
how come not single person who tested the game thought „hmm these scenes are kind of short maybe we shouldn’t release this story scene by scene.”
they also could have made the scenes longer in the first place. regardless of who makes the game capitalism has gotta capitalism right.
We can't believe we're saying it, but LOVE & MAGIC™: SPELLFYRE is OUT NOW! https://candlelight.sng.link/Dlxo2/dhnj?pcid=bluesky&_smtype=3
We have poured all of our love... and magic... into this game, and we're so, so proud of it. Thank you for following along on our journey. Enjoy! ❤️🔥
