The Giro has been pretty decent so far. I don't like that Arnold Dimar is winning stages but other than that the GC looks like Dick Carapaz, Bardet, and Landa are going to have a slug out until somebody cracks. At least I hope. I really hope it's not a case of everyone being fairly even until the last time trial and then of course, the Ineos rider wins the time trial and therefore the GC. I mean look, of all the Ineos people to win Grand Tours I do have a soft spot for Dick Carapaz and Egan Bernal but I do hate that boring Team Sky formula...and the fact that Landa and Bardet ALWAYS lose time on time trials. But yeah, stage 10. I am for it, we all wanted it, and I think the cycling world will be better for it seeing a black rider who got there through meritocracy rather than petty american negroes Legion wearing cuban link chains and renting Lamborghinis for "da gram", elbowing people in empty american industrial/business parks turned into criterium circuits and complaining their unpalatable approach to sport is a symptom of racism. Binny sprinted from like 300 meters to go and I'm shocked he was able to hold it to the line. He was straight drag racing with MVDP and I didn't know if he was going to gas because he went so early. Bravo. Now that you've got your win...don't sit on wheels so much now. I get that you had to do it, but that stage where Thomas De Gendt won because you kept sandbagging MVDP's chase was kind of gross. Also Simon Yates is super annoying and needs to go away. I used to be a stan because he and Adam were Brits who weren't a part of that drugged up Brailsford bunch, masturbating themselves over sock length and throwback three stripe jerseys. But after he won the Vuelta I was like okay okay...he got over that Giro shit and now he knows what it takes to win big GC races. Nope. Like, stop trying to win a breakaway stage bro, you lost 11 minutes on GC. You got your stage win in the Time Trial. Just go home.
