“You should know that students don’t read anything unless it’s in their classroom. If you wanted them to be out instead of trapped in a classroom, you should of taken them on a field trip around London.”

“That is not my problem, it is the problem of the students. I gave them ample warning, if they wish to use their youth as an excuse for ignorant oblivion then that is their choice. Now if you’ll excuse me, I can see one of my students has a genuine question for me. You may choose to deal with the noise they are causing or go somewhere else. Unfortunately those are the only options for you.”

“Guess I’ve gotta practice th-that a bit.”

“you are young. There will be time to learn the particular talent of hiding when we are feeling off, though I cannot say if it mightn’t be more harmful than good a talent to have.”

“Yeah, well half of your students seem really immature for college students.. they do realize that some people do actually enjoy peace and they also do realize that people around are studying for a test or something, right?”

“Not only is this a public sphere, one that is designed for purposes besides studying, but there has been a notice that this class will be out here posted for a week. Perhaps if others wished to enjoy some peace or study for their tests they should have minded the signs that were around them, and gone somewhere else.”

“I-it isn’t, s-s-so it’s fine,” she stuttered, rubbing one of her eyes as the tears continued to fall down her cheeks.

“I have to say that you do not sound all that convincing at this moment.”

“No. It isn’t. Which is why I just need to be left alone.”

“I’m afraid as your professor I cannot do that until I am sure it is not something that might cause further harm to either yourself or someone else in the future.”

“Is it really necessary to teach a class outside though?”

[penny--anne]

“Yes, actually it is. My students will not always be indoors, or in environments when they can control entirely once they being to work, therefore they must learn to deal with them before then. It would hardly make me a good teacher if I did not prepare them properly, would it?”

“I’m trying to enjoy my drink… can you stop talking so much?”

“And I am attempting to teach a class. Perhaps you should find somewhere more suitable to enjoy a drink?”

“where is this child?” She whispered to herself and sighed, “Oh, hello there. Have you seen this girl?” she asked as she held up a picture of Camila from a few years ago. “It´s my daughter, Camila and I can´t seem to find her”

“It is so quiet here, without the children. I think I could get used to it. Do you think they’ll just never send them back?”

Serena took the severed finger prop and stuffed it in her bag. “It’s for a project… I don’t just walk around carrying fake severed limbs and appendages, though that could be kind of funny.”

“While I am going to take your word for it, and find that fact very comforting, I must say that I have seen worse from the students in this school and would not be surprised if they were carrying real severed limbs around. Worried, yes. Surpirsed, sadly, no.”

Ben moved his fingers up and down the guitar, not actually playing a song nor making a nice sound. He only found amusement in the playful, flirtatious eyes he flashed at the other. “Are you serenaded yet?”

Penny had walked into the room in order to find one of her fellow instructors, only to find the amusing student instead. Shifting her wait so she could lean against the wall, she gave a very faint laugh, “Perhaps, however since you are several years my junior for legal purposes, I am going to skip answering and instead give an almost condescending, ‘Cute, sweetie.’”

Jay smiled softly to himself now at this. “It’s also clean… If you were wonderin’. Bu’ it’s understandle I suppose.”

“Well I’m zero for two on the misses tonight, however I still have the authority to tell you to get lost if I really need it. I must be winning at something, right?”

“It’s really not tha’ bad miss, jus’ a gum shield…” He explained, taking the pot containing it off her before she thought any worse of him. But he couldn’t deal with questions on it now.

“While that perhaps might sooth a few of my thoughts, I fear I still might need to wash my hands. No offense to you sweetie but anything that’s been in anyone’s mouth is rather questionable.”

“I’m not going to ask why you need this if you take it from me right now, and we never talk about it again, capiche?”
