Her mind went sharp with panic and Jezabel felt her own breathing become rapid in shallow in response to Kid’s. I can’t leave him! A thought that most certainly was not her own invaded her mind and it took all of Jez’s effort to fight it off. She closed her eyes and concentrated, focusing on her own mind before his freak out began to really start affecting her.

After a couple minutes, she was calm enough and had pushed Kid out of her head enough to think clearly again. She blinked away the remainder of his thoughts and turned to face Zeph. “Hey, listen to me.” She coaxed as soothingly as possible. 

“We have to get this figured out first right? You and I need to get this whole connection thing fixed and then I promise you, we’ll be right back here. I’ll help you with your brother, as long as we get this whole disaster managed. Alright?”

   Zephyr fought to regain control of himself, acutely aware of Spitfire and Tier’s attempts to calm him. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he found he was somewhat surprised at the outward expression of concern by the girl beside him. 

   Likely to avoid a potential natural catastrophe...He thought, snidely, If I self-implode then she goes down with me, right? 

   Wiping away the small trickle of blood from his lip, where he’d bitten it, he took a deep - somewhat shaky - breath, “You had better mean that, Tier, or I swear I’ll hunt you down when this is all over.” 

   He felt Tiernan’s aura lighten with some relief, “Wouldn’t expect anything less, you little monster. And while I would love to sit here and give assurances, the fact is you two need to get out of here. Now.” 

  Zeph shrugged off Tier’s hands and, with monumental effort, whispered, “Fine, so be it.” Then a bit louder, with clenched teeth, he said, “Guess we’re off, Spitfire. Lead the way.” Because I really do not think I have the strength to walk out of here myself....not without him....Zeph’s thoughts drifted like a frigid breeze through his mind.

So the purpose of this meme is to give a little info on your muses without having to rely on others to fill your ask with meme questions. i know how disappointing it can be to come back to an empty ask so I wanted to create a meme that anyone and everyone can do (mun and muse).

When strung together, like notes in a symphony, they can paint far more vibrant images, visible only to those who listen to them. A single word is like a single note. It can be lovely, perhaps, but it acts more like a glimpse. Like a soft hint of what more could come. So, I cannot say that there is an individual word that I value above all others.”

2. WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE WORD?

Zephyr : “Anything to do with confinement, or control, I suppose.”

Zakit : “I’m not fond of words that imply punishment...But then, who is?”

3. WHAT TURNS YOU ON

Zephyr: *screws up his face in disgust* “Must I answer this?” (Zeph’s attraction is difficult to pinpoint and varies from person to person. Though he seems to have a tendency towards those who are not so chaotic as he is - those with a sense of control and self-discipline...)

Zakit : “I find those that can be who they are, without care to other’s opinion, to be highly attractive. People who are comfortable in their own skin. Also,” *gives a sly smirk* “A fiery spirit is highly welcome. I don’t mind playing with flames...”

Zakit : “I cannot take seriously those who are oblivious to all that is dark in the world. Those that choose to see nothing but good. The world is not good. It is a concoction mixed from night, sunlight, screams, and laughter. The dark cannot exist without light, and from light come shadows...”

Zephyr : “I...don’t really know. I was created to be a weapon, so what else could a living weapon do but what I do now?”

Oh man that sounds like an amazing trip! ... I will be thinking of you while I do my finals -.- Meh, it's not the clouds that bug me, its the northerness. The day I take my last final, the sun will only be out for 6 hours, and never rise more than 11 degrees above the horizon o.o But at least I'm not in Iceland I guess?

“Good.” Jezabel couldn’t help herself and she gave a little smirk.

The assassin listened closely to Tiernan’s instructions, her eyes narrowing as she did so. She gave a small sigh. This complicated things, at least somewhat, anyway. Not enough for it to be a huge emergency, but getting to their meeting place with the guy who had the key to separate them could prove to be more of a challenge than she originally suspected. “Good, that makes things easy. Now let’s grab your stuff so we can go. We have somewhere we need to be, if you remember correctly.”

   Zeph stayed planted where he was, “B-but, I can’t just leave Zakit!!” He felt his chest rise and fall in shallow, rapid, breaths, as his panic began to sky-rocket once again. Beyond the pounding of his heartbeat in his ears, he faintly heard Tiernan’s footfalls briskly close the distance between them, and Zeph felt strong hands firmly grip his small shoulders.

   “Zephyr, calm down, listen,” Tier’s voice drifted to him, his aura radiating feelings of calm, though still tinged along the edges with traces of anxiety, “This isn’t permanent. You will see him again soon, just not right now. I’ll make sure he stays safe, you have my word. Do you trust me?”

   Zeph wrestled in his mind with that question. Did he trust Tier? With many things, yes, but what about the one thing that meant everything to him? Feeling his body tremble slightly, he bit down hard on his bottom lip, his sharp canines digging into the soft flesh there.

   “Consider it a trade, yeah?” Leo suggested, lifting his chin a bit with his statement as a sort of acknowledgement. “I could get ya what you need, you could get me some food to stock the ship with, we’ll each be happy afterwards.” Then he nodded, like he agreed with the others’ suspicion. “Well, what makes ya think I’d want it? Is it important? Does it make good profit? You’ll have to make it convincin’ that I don’t want it. If you don’t trust me, that’s fine. I’ll be on my way and y’ can deal with it on your own.”

     Zeph pursed his lips and shrugged, looking bored as he flicked his tail back and forth in a very feline-like manner, “It’s value depends upon perspective, you could say. For you and your kind, no, there is no value. Physical touching of it would cause bodily harm.”

  Zak nodded, “It’s true. So, if you helped us, you would need our assistance in handling it, as it can be....” Zak cocked his head as he searched for the right word, “Temperamental, shall we say?” 

  Turning to his twin, he muttered a few words in their language, waiting for Zeph to consider and respond before turning back to the man, “Alright then, Thief, considering we have a deadline to meet, we shall accept your trade, on one condition.”

   Zephyr spoke up, “We will call the shots. No arguing, no questions asked. Deal?”

“I wanted the red one anyways.” Gek winked. He snatched a couple helmets off a shelf and tossed one at Zakit before pelting him with a pair of gloves. “Super powers or not, no skipping out on gear.”

   Zak snorted and rolled his eyes as he shoved his hands into the bike-gloves, “I was not about to ‘skip out’. My abilities are not exactly physically protective, like Zeph’s are, remember?”
